Wait what, since when did they not exist in DayZ? last time i heard about them the parachuting system was improved, in fact last time i jumped out a chopper witch by the way wasn't so long ago on a normal Chernaus server and gracefully floated to the ground.

Yeah that is so true i have to admit, i suppose we just pick these things up to fill the inventory, though matches... i will still kill for them!

in the time you took to get to them they could have ALT TAB'd and killed the game.... So far i havn't came across any problems with the combat logging system.

Well your choice really, The newer patches and Private hives have seen scripter numbers drop quite a bit, plus battleye has been improved a bit and is making a difference. Some features of the game has changed, too many to list but generally it is for the better, As for the Stand Alone no conformation yet on a release date but we are all hoping it will be before the end of the year!! If you want to get back into it i recommend installing DayZ commander, downloading a couple of the maps get the updates find yourself a private server and see how you get on :D

Yeah tell me about it, Chernaus is now tattoo'd in my mind, i know where i am at all times and get to where i need to be without a map half the time... sad really haha!

Yeah that is nippy i have to agree, when i was starting out i had to use online maps and dayzdb.com/map to help me get about using place names, used to be such a laugh trying to say where you were by describing the characters on the sign....

Well there is Sidechat so ill PM you the server IP instead!! Most of us play most evenings anyway so you will catch us at somepoint.. hopefully next weekend i can host a bigger scale meetup

Haha the epic adventures round Chernaus with a buddy, always a great laugh. Thanks for the server reccomendation, the admin sound top notch and the general population seem pretty reasonable by what you say, i shall certainly be checking it out!

It's not the case that no one "likes" it, it's just there is room for improvement. You should maybe take what they say as "Constructive Criticism" and then work on it... yes not all reviews will be what you want to see but then you can improve your work using the advice people give. Keep up your work, and don't take everything to heart.... it is the internet after all!
