As long as the vehicles don't handle like wheeled Bricks like they did back in the mod everything should be fine.... If you want realism get Dean to add the car physics from both "Assetto Corsa" and "Next Driving Game"..... Guarantee people would want to walk... unless they have a controller or wheel set up. But really that's all im after, vehicles that handle like vehicles... and not moving slabs of concrete

Hardware wise you should have no issues what so ever. at a long shot have you tried to re-install DayZ?

If you are missing items check your version is up to date (should be to connect to servers) and if so update or reinstall if needed. Can you post your system specs up please? EDIT: DayZ is a workout for your graphics card but it's the processor that deals with the majority of tasks, Really you need a good CPU to be playing this without too many issues.

yup, when i play ARMA 2/3 or DayZ it borks my internet up to the point my flatmate cannot play his games. They are all bandwidth Whores....

Nothing new then, was exactly the same during the opening months of the mod. However we survived then and we will survive again. I agree with you about the amount of threads but the best thing we can do about them is just ignore the QQ op's and concentrate on the people aiming to actually help the development of SA

I think you are about the only person who wish's this. However a respawn option would be ideal for situations like this. was the only escape if there was no admin on during the Mod days.

But Alpha's are the perfect way for players to tell the Devs whats wrong and what they would like to see, these normally work well unless the Devs decide not to listen and go about doing their own thing.

have you tried jumping onto another server? If that doesn't help it looks like you are stuck waiting im afraid.

Happened twice to myself but seems to have sorted it'self out to a degree, I tend to stick to one server though so i don't know how bad it is when jumping between servers.

Accurate so far. Never let me down in ARMA or the mod... if Dean keeps things "realistic" and "authentic" then it should work 100% of the time. Yeah i miss the SVD scope also. Hoping that makes a comeback in SA

With the amount of lootable places i wouldn't say there is no point in playing it. But most of the top loot is normally taken within the first half an hour of a server going up.

Im not sure about the zero'ing in the top right but for ACOG weapons there is no need to change it. it's gauged as you already said on the scope. I believe the zeroing function is suited to the Mosin Scope ATM. and yes it does change the centre point in which your bullet would land. EG i set my Zeroing to 600m, the centre of my mosin scope now will hit at 600m without any other change.

You say Blatant admin abuse... but you cannot confirm it was ACTUALLY admin abuse...

Why oh why has no one suggested using Duct tape as a way causing some mayhem... A: Cover a victims mouth... Disables them from using direct chat.. or muffles their mic. B: Who needs a Burlap sack to cover a victims head... a roll of Duct tape does an equally better job and had funnier results. C: Victims of your "Duct Taping" would have visible signs of their ordeal such as a lack of eyebrows or bald spots on their head. This is more a psychological blow to your victim.
