Pegasus Company Diaries. Day 1 Leaving the Nest King Luna and thehet had done well so far, they had marched solid for over 4km's in our bid to get to base and get geared up, no complaints, no questions. Good soldiers. King Luna i had known for some time, a loyal member of my close circle, a fierce Scandinavian warrior. thehet was new to me but had gained King Luna's trust, so i had him join us. The situation in Cherneraus is dire, Bandits roam free with no sign of control, a few of us still live by the land trying to protect those more vulnerable than us, but in this harsh wasteland nothing lives for long. Sightings have been increasing and even more worrying they were getting closer to our home base, something had to be done and done fast. The plan is to track a couple known Bandits by the name of Samzon and Doojz and kill them on sight, I order King Luna and thehet to drive south of Pobeda Dam and then east towards the Airfield and report anything to myself, who was travelling on foot. We set off south and into sight of the Dam, the Car flew down the valley and onto the Dam, i take overwatch making sure of a safe crossing, suddenly to my right in the treeline i see someone running, armed with what looked like a M107... a priority target for sure, without saying a word i steady my aim and take the shot. "Poof" as the ground next to him kicks up the dirt, he darts left then right, weaving into small treeline, he knows im there but he doesn't know where, i compose myself and begin searching through the brushline for him... and there he was, proned looking away from me, i couldn't resist and squeezed the trigger on my DMR..... The crack of my rifle almost muffled the cheer for joy as my targets head spurts blood and he hits the floor, "Doojz was killed", Good news is one is down, but where the hell is Samzon?? Samzon, a damn bandit if i have ever met one! We have had our run ins before and only just getting out with my life... the same i cannot say about a few of my lads.. may their beans RIP. If anything this wasn't just a bandit hunt, this was revenge... this was for those fallen P-Coy men, this was justice. Sighting Samzon was difficult, but suddenly running across the south face of the damn a Ghuillie Suited assailant made his way... "Samzon, at the Dam heading east.... get your target and open fire.... target is HIGH priority!" The roar of King Luna's M107 thundered through the valley moving the very mountain i sat on.. but his shot missed, thehet took aim with his M249 and opened up with short sharp bursts, one round striking Samzon but not enough to stop him, King Luna lifts his weapon and runs across in pursuit... "SNAP" the sharp piercing sound echoed in the valley to my east as i watch King Luna drop in the field, "Im hit, FUCK IM HIT..." he screamed, i order thehet to provide suppressing fire till i got on target... but he was gone! Panic ensued.. but i had to get the situation calmed down. "thehet, stay and help King Luna, im going after this one myself" he agreed, a nervous agreement but an agreement none the less. The hunt had really begun! I knew he was going to flank us, using the wounded King Luna as bait, countering this move i ran to the top of the hill as fast as i could keeping my eyes east for my target, low and behold i see him disappear over a ridge into a small open valley, out of my sights but into my trap. Moving east fast i keep my eye on the valley until i reach the tree line moving North into it, slowly i make my way down into the valley, knowing Samzon was here with me... somewhere. "Any sight yet?" asked thehet knowing i'm stalking, "no nothing yet.. im in the valle... Oh shit he is right in front of me hold up!!" Samzon was stood up behind a tree, almost blending in if it wasn't for his pink face... 300m in front of me so i raise the DMR to my right eye and breathe. The dot aligned with his head, i steady up, control my shakes and yet again pull the trigger... The Crack sent the birds in the Valley scattering... Samzon's lifeless body slumped on the floor, feeding the tree warm blood running from his open head wound.. a Glorious death! After meeting back with thehet we carry King Luna to our car and move on... a good days hunting but we almost lost a man, sometimes i wonder if the risk is worth paying....

Ooops, my bad! I just don't know what went wrong!!

Yup i agree alot of players are now on the private hives, i am an admin on a whitelisted private server and we have had no scripters at all, not even a combat logger... much better way to enjoy the mod. I also agree that some are on a break waiting on the Foundation build being released, when that comes i forsee the player numbers increase ten fold!

It's some creepy stuff for sure, been in the old tunnels a couple of times, Mary King's Close is by far one of the more freakier! Agreed, would be epic roaming the moors on a cold and clear night in the highlands, the feeling of being so alone and vulnerable would be massive!

I would like it to be set in Edinburgh, would be creepy as hell at night around the old town, and into the old city underground....

Its just epic. I can't wait for Zabn to finally get it working on the UK server.... i'll be cruising that bad boy about all day handing out weapons and medical supplies.

Short Sharp Bursts... I'm probably deadlier with an LMG than any Sniper.

The main reason i always aim is to conserve ammo, especially if im using the MK 48. That thing chews through it's belt so it's best to aim and burst shot. I don't like running back and forth to hotspots for ammo so aiming is a must, only ever in the most dire of circumstances will i fire from the hip.

You had me in tears when you did that... i got the video a little earlier from zScope. So i'm driving the trollie vehicle then?? superb!
