Ok we are in the process of setting up a base camp near the north, a couple of vehicles have been aquired. if anyone is interested in joining our squad please feel free to add me on skype... the more the merrier! :)

This is true, though personally i prefer sneaking through towns with some mates and get shit that way... buuuut if anyone gets in the way it will get messy, again i see it down to the situation wether a player stays alive or dies... though i would rather let them live and hopefully they may re-pay the favour later on

I believe some "groups" are scared of competition, again its an Alpha Dog situation, those with established groups will hunt and kill anything that moves to keep ahead... wont be the first time i have deliberatley left my squad behind to go in search of these said groups, and have came across and neutralized them. We love a bit of competition but if anyone declares "friendly" then lowers their weapon or salutes is ok with us, we would rather allow them to move on and enjoy the game, instead of forcing them back to Komorvo.... Oh and when we do kill, we do it for the loot, im afraid to say but if you are clocked running with an AS50 then your going down.... but if you have nothing of importance then please "Move Along" :)

Indeed, i've had that happen on a couple of occasions, when im with my team we are far more wary of others, single players we urge to avoid us, incase they have been tracked by bandits, but generally we take no chances with larger groups, but when im on my own as of last night, i will hail any other person i see. im as vunerable as anyone else. and until i get somewhere i need to be or with my team i will stick to whatever party is "friendly" and if its one other person i will invite them to join us on whatever objective we are on, sharing the spoils with those who help you is common manners :)

In counter of this it then becomes more of a 4 way tussle, as groups such as mine grow bigger it attracts other groups into trying to wipe us out, then dodging bandit threats whilst helping survivors. We have noticed this keeps the suspence of tracking group movments up and avoiding the inevitable sniper game... Last night is a prime example that there are players willing to help others out, 3 of us had a bus and got jumped in Solinichy, so i respawned just down the road, 1st instinct is to go get my stuff back... so heading up the coast i end up with a Zombie conga, next thing shots ring out from all sides, i hit the comms shouting "friendly, unarmed friendly" to get a rather pleasant Russian speaking back " yes it's ok... we got the z's, do you need any medical help or anything" i then told them the grief i had encountered up the road, saying this they respond saying they were heading that way toward the gun fire, so i tagged along with an enfield one of the group handed me, we got to the industrial region and attacked the group still there. They even allowed me to grab all my kit first, but not without me offering anything they needed as a way of thanks. then we parted ways, only for me to find out they were gunned down in Berezhino by a bandit crew only 15 minutes later... so i returned the favour by scouting round elektro till one of them answered my hails, soon i had their whole crew under my watch as they sorted themselves out and re-grouped. To say the least its the most satisfying thing that has happened to me in this game.. Players who take that split second to trust a complete stranger and help when they need it are rare, im just so glad i met them when i did, To whoever you guys were on UK 5 last night, i salute you!!

Best way to survive is as a group, but again you try being disciplined in a computer game... it just doesn't happen. I try to take as much military i know and incorperate it into squads im in for maximum effectivness. but again unless everyone is trained the same way you are it just doesn't work... But changing the Zeds won't do nothing, human nature is to kill one another, been proven for thousands of years.. it's what we do best! i've only ever shot 1 friend... and it was a lesson for him, he just bought DayZ and grouped with us, ended up with an AK-74u and coyote pack, generally not bad stuff, but then complained about how easy it was... of course the game is easier to survive with 6 guys on your side always looking out, i find bandits back off from large groups, yes more loot but at the same time how many Bandits are truley Chuck Norris?? So as i was saying i took my friend to the NW airfield and provided overwatch with my AS50, needless to say no one turned up... and he went on a rant on how easy this was.. so i shot him in the head... before he could utter anything on Skype i just said "never trust anyone, rule number 1... now i will gaurd your body... make it back here for your stuff on your own" i sat watching over his body for a good 2 hours till he hailed that he was there... Safe to say since he hasn't uttered how easy the game is, though it put the fear of death into him by showing him the risks of playing alone. I think rewarding team players would be a good idea, but i don't know how these "rewards" would be given? higher chance of rare loot near your location?? or maybe a ranking setting... all ideas that generally i would find to be pretty annoying to add to the game.. in the end find some buddies or a clan, or continue being bandit bait! :)

Here are your options.... 1. Man Up 2. Find some buddies and stay outa the kill zones. 3. You and your buddies fight back and rally the survivors together... unity to overcome. TBH nothing gets me more hyped than being under fire.. i live for it! Bring on the bandits i say, just makes things more tactical!!

I have yet to log back in but when i found some about an hour ago i lost my alice pack while putting it on... hope it doesnt glitch on spawn cos i threw my civvy stuff away!

Shooting at a chopper, took it out the sky... ran away from crash zone... Chopper lands on me.... Game Over haha

Man all i seem to do is walk everywhere, i've found an ATV once by pure chance after someone logged off right in front of me and left a fully laiden ATV (for witch i rolled about a mile later...) Is it me or is there a severe lack of vehicles about the place... i mean ive never even found a bycicle or one of these fabled northern bandit camps where everything is meant to be stashed..... Any hints or tips to where i can find something and give my poor aching feet a rest? Thanks in advance. [EFS] Derpy Hooves

Well i found cammo clothing before i had even found a sidearm haha! never mind im kinda back to a half decent starter kit... now i just need to find some wheels!

Im in Berizhino just looking for weapons and some basic gear to make my life a little easier the now.... once im set with a basic prep ill hunt out some weapons..

lol not bad, i just need to get a weapon again, i know a few bandit areas so ill go hunting there with my axe... wouldn't mind an Enfield at that.. anything bar a Makerov!!

You would expect more vehicles yeah... especially being so large an are, but then i suppose it would just turn to destruction Derby!!

Never found a chopper, seen one fly above me, then being shot down but thats it, i sometimes go out with a couple of squad members with a "Shopping list" and tents are sometimes a priority to making FOB's.... only shot 1 person in the back... with an Enfield at like 300m... perfect shot!

That or i always seem to find some in Berzhino... so far about 6 tents. Tends to be the quieter of the larger towns, only ever encountered 2 others, both times ive hailed "Friendly" then they decide to attack... fatal mistake.

Im on fairly busy servers most of the time (SESUK1) probably why i never find anything... just make sure you leave your ultra valuable stuff in a base camp somewhere and not on the ATV, someone made that mistake on SESUK1 and i ended up with a Guillie suit and some other goodies!!
