Put SAW as primary, (kill zombies) and have M107 in your pack, rotate them around when needed. *CAUTION* The M249 SAW is louder than going through the sound barrier, you will kill everything in sight with it but beware, more will come! M107 is a perfect rifle, only slightly bettered on range by the AS50.... but perfect for long kills.

Just give it all time, Rome wasn't built in a day, and DayZ wont be perfect in one either....yes at the moment the lack of tents and vehicles are a major pain in the rear but it does make PvP a little more frequent and interesting..... I do have my moment of pure rage at this game, but then i remember i payed absolutely nothing for it, it's still an Alpha phase program and i don't think Rocket and the Dev team are on the same budget as say EA or Blizzard..... Hats off to Rocket and the Dev team at the moment, can't be easy trying to please everyone at the same time whilst dealing with both major and minor problems in the current build. I for one am happy to wait it out and keep playing.

Died enough times to have learned something... it's only a game and sometimes the coast is more of a laugh!

Hey guys, just a quick question. Anyone else having a problem saving vehicles, logging off and then logging in to find them exactly where you found them not where you saved them.... becoming a minor pain in the backside.

ahh the single mindedness strikes again... my gf doesn't bother at all, i know she has things she likes and don't understand, and that i have mine, it's not like i go running to work in a rainbow dash outfit crying out how i have the elements of harmony, now that would be a little fucked up. Well they are both "Anti-Material" Rifles, and seeing there are vehicles in the game and the huge area of land in game then yes i find them an essential piece of kit. So you had a bad day in Cherno, havn't we all?? I have honestly lost count of the "why are there snipers" posts only for them all to reach the same conclusion... Deal with it.. every platoon has at least 1 marksman with the OP rifle, thats just how military things work... best advice i can give you is try and stay outta their sights and move faster and in more patterned shapes :)

Well being it a former war zone and it WAS a torn up vehicle then yeah, i would expect lovely bullet holes in it too, adds to the authenticity but yes does make it's re-sale value dwindle a bit.....

True this.. (nothing new till November it would seem now). I would like to see it more as a "community" rather than the stereotypical fat spotty geek watching programmes in his dwelling.. I have alot of fun with the Brony community, always happy and uplifting people, a far cry from reality that's for sure!

My server takes players from NZ and OZ, mainly because we have a couple in our clan so we raised the ping... doesn't effect gameplay at all. After this meet i think i shall get one organized for the week after if any Brony is keen on it??

People are genuinely nasty with sniper rifles, i can happily hit a moving target at over 1000m with an AS50 first time, they hear nor see anything, most likely outcome of your demise was this, a pair of skilled snipers with AS50's or a couple of non skilled with the AS50 TWS and you are a dead man walking....

all 3 of the above as you stated.... also NW airfield if you feel really brave!

Yeah i can lead the Bronies that's fine by me :) actually a bit of an honour lol! i promise not to use the excuse "i just don't know what went wrong" Should be a good laugh and when it comes to my turn hosting it will be on a UK server so all is good :)

Im back to square 1 myself, but thankfully i have a Cherno/Elektro run planned through experience to help me get started on the journey North :)

Sure thing :) we have our own server so just to get some things arranged and i'll get it setup for the near future :)

Would bring about a whole "Mad Max" scene about the place, enjoyable yes watching groups murder each other over fuel but in the end it will be the cyclists that will laugh over all!

Bronies are everywhere, just one of these "accept it" phases, and i love DayZ, i mean i love delivering love and tolerance in either help or .50cal... I don't mind when people start having a go or hating... makes me smile and think "well least im happy with myself :)"
