They do it cos they have no skill to take on equally armed apponents and feel like "badasses" when they shoot fresh meat. That is the only reason.

Some admins need to really up their game, i get accused of being jumpy sometimes but yet to make a wrong ban. Battleeye is struggling bad, as soon as it cures one problem the scripters get another way round it, continuous battle of good v evil. My server is down just now cos my host is useless so it's given me time to read up on how to track scripters through the in game log system and so far i've learned quite a bit. Sounds like a weird scripter you had in your camp, almost like he was playing about with his scripts and seeing what he could do, a friend of mine showed me what the scripts can actually do, some i was genuinely impressed with and thought i could do with them to help policing my server, but at the same time he showed me some damn evil ones, i just thought "why do this to other players?" like firing a nuke from your crotch!! WTF haha! For the time being it's a case of just trying to stay a step ahead of the scripters. as soon as i see 2 or 3 kills appear on the screen i investigate just in case... couple times i've prevented mass server wipes.. other times i just get to laugh that some lads have just smashed a car or chopper and killed themselves!

When its ready, last thing we need is another 1.7.2.5. where nothing happened! I will gladly wait till everything is running ok this time round, but hopefully it's not far round the corner, maybe another week or 2 max

Yes but a very fast US server, pretty much the same ping as i get from my UK one... Somehow my provider changed my server name and players from 40 to 64 then email me telling me that i have to pay more cos of the changes. Safe to say they got a loving email back telling them where to ram the changes and that i want my 40 player server back with it's original name or else there will be some trouble. Uhhh i got work in an hour so it will be all yours once again Sonic till about 2:30am

It's becoming a frequent problem here, as soon as one player mentions "Hacker on DE 9239280983" or "Thunderdomed on US 93827498273498" then you can almost kiss your server goodbye.. yes the popularity will increase but so will the hack attacks. I do not post mine at all, yes it's quite, average about 15 players at a time but we have been hacked twice in a month, one was invunerable and was banned instantly, the other tried a shitty thunderdome and left when i gave him a load of abuse (not mature i know but he took my hard earned guns away from me, i was pissed off!) I hear what you say though, lacking the proof to kick someone that you genuinly think is hacking away. It's a damn nightmare and ruins the game but sadly there is little we or admins can do.

Ok so looks like we will have to use a US server as mine is down... and Viylair have no idea when they will fix the problem... Useless buggers! I'll speak with the admin on the server i normally play on to make arrangements for tomorrow!! PS. Almost 24hrs to go!! :D

yup i have an awesome map for my iphone, loot spots, heli crashes vehicle spawns, i don't really need it cos i've been playing so long and i do know where everything is now but it's nice to have something i can switch to quickly for a reminder without alt tabbing!

i love playing at night without NVG's. even without a map i can just navigate with the stars, always end up where i need to be. I've never been killed at night, must be a good sign and creeping round the Zed's is much easier.. Night stalking is my thing :D

Well PM some details of when you can be free and ill arrange 4.0 (if no one else wants to host it) around yourself, My server is pretty good for Oz players (got a couple in my clan) plus our alternate US server is also as good for you guys :)

I've never been invited to a thunderdome.... probably the Scottish voice over direct chat is enough to throw them off teleporting me anywhere... i mean ive been in the passenger seat of a GAZ with three buddies before, suddenly it slows and drifts to the right, my TS lights up with "WTF ALT F4 ALT F4... hackers THUNDERDOME!!" and poor little me is sat in the car wondering where my invite was... a hacker did try it on my server with barbed wire in Komerovo.. i saw him at the edge of the arena he built.. took my guns and gave me an axe, so i ran up to the fence and as most annoyed Scottish people do i let him have a piece of my mind over direct chat.. he D/C'd quickly after that....

Ouch 8 hours... and a chopper, tbh honest i think your off your head heading back to Elektro or a pop server for that matter, the risks just increase ten fold especially if you have JUST got the loot you were seeking, investing in a tent would have probably been the best idea, taking only what you need for a trolling mission to the coast, leaving the real flash stuff for a rainy day. Good on you for waiting so long and looting the legit way but 1/10 for the idea of pop server and Elektro... suicide!

I've had that done to me, i did find it hilarious, for the first 5 mins then it attracted Z's, i couldn't move and became zombie chow while rehearsing the dance routine to Thriller :\

hmm no good, i only figured it out by chance, normally i can't work these forums things at all. Just reminded myself i need to check my server status, not done it since yesterday. (Host has been screwing up latley) but not to fear, i always have a backup!
