Standalone, with less to no hacking and no ALT F4 then yes, the dogs will have a valid use.. at the moment though they are a distraction, moving target and a damn give away of your problem -

basically the track feature would be all i used the dog for, excellent for flushing out the snipers in elektro, buuuut people will get startled by the dog and use the normal ALT F4 get outta the shit manouver therefore rendering the dogs pretty useless! -

think you should be given -5000 for shooting someone in the knee caps, attracting the horde then running away.... Just absolutely nasty, great fun (had it done to me, was laughing for ages) but yes pure nasty :P -

i seen one video on youtube of Rocket testing the dog functions, seem they are friendly, well to the owners and some of the commands look pretty cool. I do hope for wild packs too, makes camping out in the woods a hell of alot freakier than it already is. -

Just wait on the Standalone young Padawan, yes the mod has been up and down, but to create something great you must first break it's foundations.... i for one will stand by the mod and standalone, DayZ has engrossed me and destroyed my social life! :D -

Least we have a time zone for it now, no more "OMG when is patch released QQ!!" Fingers crossed a few of the major bugs are sorted, at the end of the day I can still boot up DayZ and get a game, that for me is all that matters!

When i log in all my ammo for primary and secondary are gone, anything in my persons inventory, gone, also bandages etc but my toolbelt is left un-touched. Anyone else having this problem?? and any ideas to solve it. -

yup well im still gonna wipe Lingor and try it that way.... thankfully my CZ550 was in my backpack with some ammo so not a complete loss! unfortunatley im in no position to use a rifle like that in such a CQB situation!! -

i dunno but being hit in the chest, wearing a flak jacket with a 9mm round aint gonna do much damage.. however being smashed by an axe... yeah that will hurt no matter what your wearing!

Got the equipment to survive, (Military Back pack, almost like a coyote elite, dragonforce webbing, camping equipment etc etc.. only thing i don't have is a fire arm, and being it Scotland there aint many to be found.
