I wonder why you never showed just before that when i snuck up on you and you're buddy in Gihliies whilst in Elektro and gunned you both down.... further more you are both now banned from our server :D

they are players, met a couple last night, trying to be hackers and avoiding the nameplate system, Epic fail.... but they are players... just trying to be sneaky

i think it's fantastic when you get a few notes up, good little read while riding shotgun in a vehicle. Example: "This is the NW airfield" then underneath "No Shit Sherlock" "Im going to kill you", replied with "Nope you missed, now your dead lol" Found myself having a good few giggles at what people scribble down on the maps, and the slightly newer players who STILL put their base camps down on the map... silly beans!

Hacker teleported every vehicle on my server last night to the north of Cherno, unfortunatley for him i was in the legit chopper with my crew, when we landed next to him and got out, he lasted all of about 5 seconds, got killed then banned, so we put a server wide message up telling everyone on the server that all the vehicles were there and to help themselves. (after we got rid of all the hacked and duped gear of course!) Never felt better to be honest!

Came home last night, opened cupboard, no Beanz, panic, run to my military daysack witch i keep in my room, 3 cans of Heinz Beanz... wtf?

I agree with gear being passed on, you die then that's it, from the beginning i've been told "never get attached to your gear" seems some of these people never heard the word man.... May post my server details on here soon, stark warning that if anyone is caught ALT+F4 in PvP they will get banned, same goes to ghosters and hackers... (1 ghoster, 2 ALT+F4 kids and 3 script kiddies in 4 hours last night).... oh and just one word of advice fella's! Trying to script on a Nameplated server isn't wise, niether is telling me to "FUCK OFF" after i catch you.

i'll add you to the list but at the moment im unsure about what is actually happening, nothing has been set in stone for a server etc, plus im working all this weekend so looks like im out!

normally my server has been hacker free, annoyingly though i was killed by some dude in a super fast invincible bus screamin "fuck you" as he tried to run me over, since the logs are about as useful as a chocolate firegaurd i've had to drop it down to regular difficulty so nametags are back on.... lowers the fun and suspense while hiding etc but it means the hackers have now nowhere to hide and i will ban them out-right...

No hackers are not increasing, just genuine players are decreasing....

Just re-installed OA, but when try to update the ARMA patches i get the Wrong CD key problem, any ideas on how to fix it

tried updating with six launcher and thats working.... i wonder if its a problem with DayZ commander. fingers crossed i can log into my own server this time

Standalone, with less to no hacking and no ALT F4 then yes, the dogs will have a valid use.. at the moment though they are a distraction, moving target and a damn give away of your problem

basically the track feature would be all i used the dog for, excellent for flushing out the snipers in elektro, buuuut people will get startled by the dog and use the normal ALT F4 get outta the shit manouver therefore rendering the dogs pretty useless!

i can see alot of grief happening, people growing attached to their dog... and boom, lassie has been turned to a red mist.. the tears will flow!

hmmm only hide them if they have hacked gear, that's my clans policy... either that or you got a good bit of bait sitting there!

think you should be given -5000 for shooting someone in the knee caps, attracting the horde then running away.... Just absolutely nasty, great fun (had it done to me, was laughing for ages) but yes pure nasty :P
