  1. Try what Grunt mentioned & check #2 of this guide out: http://dayzmod.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=1355 Basically to tone down or turn off Mouse Smoothing. 1 seemed to work best for me. Dida does your mouse come with an external tray app for changing your mouse sensitivity? Also try changing GPU_MaxFramesAhead to 1 in the same file mentioned in the guide above. http://www.armaholic.com/forums.php?m=posts&q=12820 ^ From here it appears there might be a fix for what you're experiencing.

    Squad Size

Most people are definitely going to agree that 3-4 is the best number. If you're using VOIP (which if you're working in a group you should) it can get very loud & confusing unless everyone's talking on an extremely need to know basis.
  3. Pretty much this and only this. I've had people get in Teamspeak only to back stab me. Don't even get me started on the guy that I shot a bandit off' date=' epi-penned, bandaged and transfused before he turned around and [b']shot me in the face. /rant. The best way I can think of is to find people to play with early on when you have your starting gear and ask other people who've just spawned if they want to group up. It's risky but losing starting gear isn't really a tragedy. External VOIP applications are also good for finding people. The problem is ultimately that if you have something someone wants, it can be very hard to find a person you can trust.

Rifles which to choose and why?

Finding DMR mags is easy. I only carry 2-3 on me at a time as i dont use it againced zombies so im always throwing mags away. Its best used when covering my friend while he moves in. If he runs into trouble i'll assist but usually i'll just keep an eye and warn him of dangers. And an M16 ACOG is not a substitute for a long range accurate weapon, it has terrible grouping at 300m+. The bullet drops much more and loses a ton of damage at range, so you would need 2+ rounds to drop someone. In a group I can see the DMR being useful but the grouping at 300 meters is definitely not bad. I've made more than a fair share of kills at 600m using less than 3 rounds & virtually every engagement i've got into happen within that distance. If you're camping out on a hill with a DMR and you see me first I probably deserve to die, but with the M16A4 ACOG the reverse applies just as well. The mil-dots are definitely accurate & the 30 round magazine leaves a lot of room for engaging multiple people. I do know that DMR mags are quite easy to find however, I should have been more specific as I was talking more about the STANAG SD mags. I just value the versatility of the M16A4 w/ ACOG over the DMR. I can definitely see why some people would prefer the DMR however.
