    Where Can I find high view distance servers? Which ones are they?
  2. ...what's going on here? This is hated by the overwhelming majority of players, and makes cool things like having a helicopter 100% useless in terms of scouting things. This needs to be reverted to the 1500 it was before, or at least 1000.

    Have reincarnation be effected by karma. Bam. Slightly better/worse equipment and spawn locations based on karma.

    It seems that the view distance is always capped at 500, which is pretty lame. One of the best things about arma 2 and chernarus is the vast map size and the realistic view distances, and this really degrades that immersive aspect. Just wondering about the reasoning and when it will be fixed

  10. panic meter is ridiculous More zombies = good, but killing them should be more or less permanent.... players should be encouraged to cull zombies to rid them from the gameworld, this could become a goal of players when they have nothing to do. Are there plans to have them spawn in remote places and then move as a horde?

Thesreyn... seriously get a grip dude. Bump because the game's a fucking good concept? Are you seriously trying to say that because the game is popular, we should never change ANYTHING?

    That's not what an opinion is. You can't have an opinion on the mass of bromine, it's just fact. There is a way humans react to catastrophe, and saying "LOL EVERYONE WILL JUST TRY 2 GET KILLSTREAKS LUL" is fucking ludicrous and ruins the atmosphere of the game.

    The grimdark misanthropy that "hurr humans are always 100% evil" just doesn't stand up to scrutiny. Even opposing humans have reason to cooperate against the unthinkable, and this is one of the most compelling aspects of zombie fiction is when humans that would normally hate eachother and kill to take their stuff are forced to cooperate and find common cause. And in eve online there is a karma or "security level" system and it works

    real hardcore games like this are few and far between. So I definitely fear that the integrity of this game and everything that makes it good will be compromised once it really takes off. But I think rocket has a lot of sense, so that makes me not too worried

    In all the best zombie fiction, human-human encounters are met with trepidation and drama, not d4rksn1p3r420[n0sc0pe]'s leet dubstep killstreak. The world should definitely be savage. But not to the point of player interaction being a battle of getting the first shot and nothing else. There SHOULD be a possibility someone is a dick, and they should have the power to kill people. But it shouldn't be as banal, shallow and thoughtless as it is now. People should be afraid of the zombie apocalypse that just destroyed the world first, and in a close second, the inhumanity of some other humans. Not the other way around.

    I am a bandit. But I don't think I need to be coddled by the developers and be given some special privileged position where I can ruin everyone else's gameplay without any consequence. And I never said bandit's should spawn without weapons. The fact that you need to misrepresent the suggested solution indicates that you can't argue against my real suggestion.

    Probably one of the most overrated films in history inb4 mass downrep. Nah I agree with you. It annoyed me. I know, right? Weak writing that didn't reflect the characters and their development, the cinematographer seemed like a 6th grader did it, the zombies weren't zombies they were "uuuh REALLY ANGRY PPL LOL", every single shot where the zombies were shown in an action scene was completely interchangeable, just shaky flailing zombies that were occasionally cut to, looked really cheap.

    Because changing respawning into something more damning for players that grief lets opposing players anti-griefing efforts more permanent. Let's say we absurdly did the very opposite of what I suggest, and low humanity players pick their spawn locations and get to respawn with the gear they had. Would killing them really solve anything? Not really.

    Blood reworking

    While the blood system is currently very "hardcore" as it should be, it is actually more hardcore than real life is. My suggestion: Keep food blood regen as it is. Have sodas also regenerate 200 blood (remember how they give you sugary drinks after you donate blood) Have blood regenerate every half hour based on how hungry/thirsty you are. If your food and water is in the green, maybe regen 100 blood. If one is in the brown, then 30 blood. if one is red, then zero. And perhaps you even lose blood if you have a flashing indicator. This is realistic since blood does regenerate in real life
