    I use SixLauncher, But im seeing the same thing. When I went into a server with 9999 ping though, it dropped to 62 right away. So they still work, you just have to find one close to you. This started after my client updated tonight, whatever update they did is affecting it.

    yep nerfed. I was unloaded on with an entire clip of a makarov earlier, all went into my chest, and I still ran away :) It was confirmed nerfed as well.

    I see. Would have helped if I saw the video then. :). I didn't want to call it balota airfield, as I though you might be new to the game, since it was your first time with that weapon....that weapon being the wrong one you're talking about. :) I got my first M4A1 in those tents, so now I check regularly.

    I'm joining up with a few guys I met on here later, in about 2-3 hours, you're probably welcome to join if you want. They said they use TS. I don't have access to a mic tonight, so i'll just be using direct chat, providing it actually works. I'll have my mic hooked up tomorrow, so if all goes well, we can play again with mics and stuff. Im 21, live on the east coast. Don't know the other dudes, lol. They want to play all night, and might be looking for a night time server(pitch black) just a heads up :) PM me if you want to play

    Yes Rocket was hired, So I imagine a good number of sales had to do with this mod. Also, since ARMA II has been a top seller on steam now for a while, its safe to say it made some good money for them. Exact number, I don't know. Its supposed to be a standalone by christmas, so things must be going good :)

    Fun times indeed. can't watch the video as im at work , but I see the thumbnail :) If you don't know(you probably do) you can find awesome guns like this close to the spawn airfield in the medical camp deer stands. I don't go North as much as I'd like, so I always search those stands for loot, and usually find something good.

    Really sucks man. Don't think much will be done. Many threads have video proof, and nothing is done. I just had someone engage me when he saw me, even though I stood straight up and pointed my gun at the ground. I popped him once with my M4A1, which he fell to the ground bleeding. I tried to walk up & communicate, I would have gladly patched him up, but he F4'd..... What a loser to engage someone and then DC.

    I've joined a server from Freeside, not sure if it was that exact one though. I only played 1 new spawn. When I spawned, I saw a truck driving in the distance down the shoreline. Eventually they got close enough....and shot me. Left and didn't return. A group of fully geared guys hunting the spawn is bs.

    Might be easiest to reinstall DayZ. Only takes a minute. Make sure it finds your new steam directory.

    Your pic is the ultimate Butter Face. I agree they should lose all items. Think the DayZ team is having problems with ideas like this though, because one way or another you'll end up hurting legit players. We'll probably have to wait until the standalone comes out...I've heard people say this Christmas, but seen no official statement.

    Cool man. No sweat. tons of servers are slow. Seems I log into your servers quite often(low pings), so a thanks is in order.. lol

    Seems like I have slow load in times on any of the HFB servers, regardless of version.

    Yep, it sucks. Just got in a firefight with a guy who opened up on me for no reason, I noticed him a good 40 seconds earlier, but decided to keep moving past the city. He see's me and opens fire, but I have an m4a1 CCO, and put him down quickly. He wasn't dead, but losing blood fast. I ran to him, and I was going to try and communicate if he stopped shooting, but he didn't. Got in visible range and, of course, he F4's... Pissed me off pretty bad. Ended up looting the city and signing off for the night.....

    I don't have any form of speaking option available right now, got my PC hooked up in a different room from my monitor. However, if that doesn't bother you, im up for it. Will be on at 6pst(about 7hrs from now) and will be online for most of the night, maybe 1-2am, unless im still having fun, lol. Hopefully direct chat works, but im not sure cuz no one ever responds.....Let me know if you want to meet up later, and roughly what time. I live in OR by the way.

    I don't see it happening in the mod stage. When it becomes standalone, it seems like a good idea for one of the game modes though.

    I just saw something like this about 20-30min ago. I believe it was W of cherno. I first saw it in the city, and ran for along time. There was a cloud of smoke closer to the airfield with a crashed helicopter in the center....
