Its a fine idea. With all the graphical glitches and other issues with the game, there's too many things to be worked on first...I think this could wait till at least beta, or retail. They could do anything though, even set up a donation line if they needed money, people would donate. But I don't think moneys as much of an issue now since Rocket works at Bohemia and should have access to more resources as they want him to continue the mod, since its getting them a ton of sales on ARMA II

careful man. I gave a friend a ghillie I had already worn and it killed him when he tried to put it on. Lost the ghillie and all his gear.

My 2 biggest complaints are 1.This. 2.Zombies spawning under deer stands next to the ladder. they glitch out there and make it hard to lead them away to climb up. I just open fire, but it sucks.

I've only gone there about 6 times. I've seen no one. Stary Sober I see tons of ppl. I think a couple more could be added. Makes peoples journey north not always end in the same location.

I've been hit in the back and murdered by a guy I was in skype and running with for over 30 minutes. lol. I've also gotten into a server where the admin was picking spawns up and in a heli and dropping them at the NW airfield.... some days you win, some days you don't :) Edit: Great story BTW

He's right. Seen two ghillies since the new patch. no NVGs. Probably not a great trade for you. I found 1 in Elecktro, how lucky is that?

fair warning. Ive given my friends a ghillie suit that I wore once after the patch, when he tried to put it on he died and respawned next to the ocean, losing his gear and the ghillie... Be careful, as the one you get will probably be used..

You're gonna download a windows 8 beta? Sorry for your loss... I don't think you'd be able to find graphic drivers and things like DirectX. If you could, they would likely be beta and run poorly. I have several dev copies where I work. I cannot recommend Win 8 to anyone.

I've found 2 since the latest patch, they worked great for me. I was with a friend when I found one, and he begged for it. I took it off and gave it to him, but he died instantly when putting it on, losing his character and the suit. Wear with caution.

Just log off the server,lobby and all, and re join it. It will work for the area you're in. Usually, when they get too bad for me, I re log in, and its gone until the next city I enter with dead soldiers...

yes, search thunderdome dayz on youtube to see more info about it. When I went there, I died instantly, along with everyone else, like the hack wasn't done right. Also, I didn't get any gear before I left. Respawned fresh with no gear on the beach..... Think you got the better of it. :)

When it gets bad, I just DC from the server completely(lobby and all) and reconnect to it. They go away for a while, but come back eventually.

Try to find a tent. Store your gear in your favorite server, and go kill some zombies! I'm trying to stockpile weapons in a tent. 5 of each, so I can always safely get gear on a new spawn. It's fun, and a slow process.

Last guy I tried to work with attacked my 4 buddies while in a skype call. I wouldn't suggest finding anyone on here, as its turned into a deathmatch in game... The first time your truly betrayed, you'll think twice about wanting to play anymore... Lol, before i met up with friends, I was shot in the back after healing and giving blood to someone. He traveled with me for 10 minutes and was going to join up with us, he was already in our skype call...Now, I play with ppl I know, and YELL at anyone I see in game to back off or they get shot... I'm still not a killer, but I won't help anyone... Just some random advice lol. You may find someone cool, so good luck!

Hi, I saw a server hosted by HFB servers that said in the title "NOOB Friendly, NO PVP". Has anyone seen this? I was using DayZ Commander. Also, as HFB servers is a large hosting site, I doubt they would do anything to get a server blacklisted. Could this be allowed by Rocket? Or could it be a sneaky admin? Doubt a hacker could do that.... I found it last night, so I don't know the server number. Searching noob or pvp worked last night when I told a friend about it, but we couldn't join..

They just don't want to be shot in the back by someone you just bandaged and gave morphine to 5 minutes ago, while offering to let them join a party down the road...I really don't get ppl like that. Sure, its allowed to be a pus*y and shoot someone in the back, but that doesn't make it fun. I agree with you. But you started a douchy thread based on opinion... Should be deleted.

You should check out http://dayzgrt.enjin.com/ Its the clan I joined. Almost 300 ppl around the world, they have a server in US, and I believe other locations as well. Edit: structure is like a military ladder. Ranks and leaders and all that.

yep, just organized. lots of them like to set up mission structures for the group. Break into small teams to achieve goals. Edit: sorry DooM4MR, might want to remove your beans from me, I changed my post :)

Hmm. I didn't see this one yesterday. srry guys, wish I had the server name. I was more curious if it was allowed than to try and get the server in trouble or anything, or else I would have copied the server name... I use HFB servers a lot, as I live on the west coast.. Right, I didn't think all of them would be. If it sounded like I did, its because I wrote the OP fast while at lunch break.Edited OP just for you. ;)
