    German server hates German? :o A friend had a similar problem when his username kept rejecting him for ASCII characters. He just changed it and was okay...Not sure what causes that though, looking for an answer myself..

    had this problem yesterday. left a dirt bike in the middle of nowhere, literally, and when I logged in 45minutes later, it was gone. Doubt it was taken. Took me a good 10 minutes to find a suitable tree that completely covers the bike.

    Since Delta didn't lock this thread, I'd like to post the how-to I used to installed Lingor. My friends have used it as well, and nobody has been banned.. Youtube search for ImAnderZEL, it should be one of his last 5 videos, or use this link. NOTE: Every time Lingor is updated, you have to re install it completely.

    I've seem streams where people log out, and log back in over and over until they hit the ground, usually only breaking a leg. Maybe find a server with a really good ping, and be ready to abort as soon as you log in. Fall damage resets each time you log, so if your less than 10ft on your last log, you should only break a leg, or less.

    He's right about the sounds being loud and stuff. But you described a hacker, especially with the 3 vehicles sitting not far away... Not sure what he means by being invisible if 2 players are prone. Not really true. Harder to see them in 1st person view, but nowhere near invisible.

    No. The standalone will have features and resources not available in the mod. Also, there's a good chance it would run on a new engine altogether.

    Nobody can really answer those questions now, except for Rocket. I would say the game is worth buying now,even if you only played for a month.. I expect to see standalone by the end of the year. I have no idea when he'll release an alpha version though, and if that version would be on par with the mod or not. If you want solid fun until standalone releases(whenever that is) I would say buy it. Also, ARMA II is great fun.

    IMO,He should get to a stable point with the mod, and stop adding features. Work on any remaining bugs and focus the rest of his time on a standalone. Anyway, if you can buy and get early access to the standalone Alpha , anyone who really enjoys DayZ will already be playing it.

    The reason US servers get hacked more often is because most of them are full of people. A hacker won't waste his time with some second rate country's server that has 8 people in it, they want the full 40-50 players.. All I can really say to your first post is....Idiot...

    Really dude? Same can go both ways, if you did more research, you'd know people are complaining. Go to almost any other gaming website and the comments are full of people crying that they just bought ARMA II and don't think they should have to pay for the standalone.

    I haven't had a sniper problem since the first week I started playing..... SERPENTINE B*TCH! Sniper's are not that common. And yes, *if* there was a zombie apoc. I think the only people left roaming the streets would be the ones armed to the teeth. The unarmed Civ's are hiding in all those buildings we cant get into...lol

    depends on server settings, and if the server is on Veteran, Regular, Recruit, etc Edit: I think you mean some servers show players tags, and other servers don't, right?

    This has worked for some, but it didn't do anything for me or my friends. What I posted above works for everyone who's tried. Just make sure to leave the lobby as well, then re join

    signing out and back into the server will correct the issue for the town you're in,but make sure you leave the lobby too, not just the game. If you come upon another city with dead soldiers, you'll have to follow the same process. For me, I have to sign out and in maybe once every 2-3 hours due to these bugs...This only works when the glitches are happening. If you do it before they show up, it wont do anything.

    Its just the game. Happens to me a lot. I got left sometimes too....Usually corrects itself after 5-10 min of me pressing crouch, prone, stand,etc...lol

    For me and my friends its a bug. Leaving the server(lobby and all) then re joining would fix the issue for us.

    Its a fine idea. With all the graphical glitches and other issues with the game, there's too many things to be worked on first...I think this could wait till at least beta, or retail. They could do anything though, even set up a donation line if they needed money, people would donate. But I don't think moneys as much of an issue now since Rocket works at Bohemia and should have access to more resources as they want him to continue the mod, since its getting them a ton of sales on ARMA II
