Did you get banned from the forums? Because you're clearly still posting here. Or the game? I didn't think you could get banned in game for something you post on the forums...

for me, it did! 3 days ago I was swimming with a ghillie suit on. When I got to the other side, my ENTIRE inventory and backpack were gone. Later, when I swam back, I saw all my gear sitting at the bottom of the lake, but couldn't reach it. All I had was my sidearm and ammo, everything else was gone :( Filed a bug report but I haven't seen any new ones approved in a while

not sure about the patch notes, but since the latest updates, I've seen a lot less hacking.

I think something is glitched with humanity. My friend has never had bandit/hero skins, but after he died and respawned last night with a normal humanity level, he had the hero skin. After he died again, it didn't go away.

Toolbox should repair it. AFAIK, heli's only spawn 1 per server. Ive seen more than 1 bike, dirtbike,etc.

Thats terrible. This didn't kill me but might as well have. swam in the river towards a boat, my first one I've seen. got there, but all my gear was gone in my inventory, main gun, all items and my backpack. Lost some of my best gear I've found, Bizon SD with 3 clips, DMR,PDW,NVG's,ghillie,blood,morphine, gas for the boat I wanted.... Just went back to land and had the Z's eat me.....so depressing. 152 zombie kills, 1 murder, 1 bandit kill, so much good gear.Filed a bug report but none of the new ones have been approved since 8/11. Just too much time invested to lose it all like that. Maybe I'll check out the new lingor map for a while until these things get worked out..

anyone know if the patch is going to be released this week or next? All I've heard is sometime after Gamescom.

legit, but not supported by DayZ team. Tons of great You Tube vids on how to install the latest, v034. Also, the map is fun, I play it as much as Chernarus.

found my first set last night as I stumbled onto a heli crash! not trading, just happy lol... I had 233.xx blood, managed to find a Bizon SD, DMR, and the NVGs. Found some animals for my blood regen...ITS KILLING TIME.

I think anyone who's EVER equipped a flashlight had the same thought :)

Maybe it is a closed beta test, or you found the servers they're running for GamesCom, that have the dog in it. They mentioned releasing it right after GC, so it would make sense if they're showing it off right now. not sure why it'd be a US server though...

I think you're SOL. My friend had the same problem, never hacked in his life, he's 16, I play(ed) everyday with him, we don't play when one another is not on because of how far N we were for the last 2 weeks. We both got on one day and it said Global Ban for him while we're in a skype call... He's tried to appeal over and over, but his account was banned for "hacking". In other words, they looked into it, but they believe it was a legit ban, so there's nothing more he can do. He refuses to buy another key if they're going to ban legit players....You can't support a company like that..

my friend was also global banned, we play together every day, and I play more than he does, so I know he didn't hack while I wasn't on. Pathetic Battle Eye is banning legit players, yet hacking is still going crazy in game.

Maybe these could be added in like heli crash sites,with rare loot instead of removing deer stands..They could be the pilot of the crash. At this point, I think they should leave everything they can in game, just to have more content.

hmm, took me ten minutes to install using six updater.... There have been a lot of problems lately, daily updates to ARMA/DayZ/Commander/Battle Eye. They're causing all sorts of issues, my friend was even global banned, and trust me he's not a hacker... I'd say give it a week and try to play again..

Agree as well. Heli's are only half the fun if you don't have another to shoot at.

Meat is the best way to regen blood when playing solo. Unless they add another method, I don't think meat should go anywhere.

A clean shot to the engine block and the vehicle is done for. So yes, it does have its benefits. I would agree its overkill and not really needed against players though..

A player may have crashed a heli. I saw something similar and ran until I found the center, which had a crashed heli in it. Think the fire is just a glitch or bug

In many hours of DayZ, I've seen a single AS50 at a heli crash, which had 5 shots.... I wasted them :|

UPDATE FROM B.E. Update: The issue has been investigated with the help of Ondrej Spanel (BIS lead programmer) and we found that there is a possibility of a race condition on BE's side during the game's disconnect process. It can essentially destroy the integrity of the environment that BE expects and trigger a certain detection. The problem has been fixed and all of bans of the past two days that could have been triggered by such a condition have been removed. There might still be cheaters among those, but that doesn't matter. What matters is that the innocent players should be unbanned now. We're honestly deeply sorry for this and will do everything to ensure that something like this won't happen again.

It doesn't run on the DayZ hive, that's why they don't support it here on the forums. They have a website you can get all the info from. It's basically just another mod for ARMA II

I can't say lingor island isn't causing the wave of innocent bans. But I've had it installed for over a week with no issues, I play both maps daily. Might want to wait for the Battle Eye issues to be sorted out, just to be on the safe side. :)
