I think it would be easier if they just made piles of garbage that you could rummage through. It stays on the ground, unable to be moved, But it works like a backpack when its on the ground.

you need to update both arma 2 and dayz. I used dayz commander to do this. But you can use SIX too.

that doesnt make much sense to me tho... you cant even throw the TP or razors. :/..... tin cans and empty irish juice bottles are more useful than them.

gettn fucking sick of hackers and KoS.... I was just playing a new 1.7.6 server. And within literally (i timed it) 7 seconds of spawning. Some asshole with a hatchet hacks me down after i say "FRIENDLY AND UNARMED". 10 minutes after respawn I go to elektro and hear gunshots. I then see 5 names pop up in the death box and I find bodies (both friendly AND bandits) scattered all over elektro. Nobody took their loot or anything. Just ran thru and killed all these players. Then when I went in the store north of elektro. there were 6 SIX bodies! all killed from the same asshole! Then the guy says "friendly dont shoot" from somewhere nearby. I then reply with "Im unarmed so its ok, dont shoot ME" cause I thought it was an actual friendly player. Next thing I know this guy runs into the market with a fucking CZ and shoots 5 rounds into me then proceeds to laugh..... Im getting fucking sick of this shit.

Sounds like you deleted a bikey file. I did the same thing a few years ago when arma 2 first came out, and It took me hours to figure out what was wrong.

theres a difference between going around approaching every player as if they are friendly and being a total nub, And approaching players with caution. Im not going to carry this conversation on any further with you because you are obviously naive and didnt understand what I was saying.

KoS happens.... Everyone expects and understands that.. The problem is how frequently it happens.

Its not just you. Lately ive been having the (no spawn) issue myself. I played a good 4 hours the other day and didnt see a single zombie. I think its either a glitch with the new update, Or the server admin sets the spawn rate way too low on accident.

No that right there is the attitude that MAKES people KoS. Instead of playing the (if you cant beat em join em) game. Why dont you tough it out like a legitimate player and take your death... Let them be the douche. The problem with dayz is the recent swarm of console players (usually underage children) that have migrated to PC in the last few months. Playing nothing but KoS multiplayer shooters on xbox and ps3 has made these kids and players impatient. DayZ is a slow paced survival game. When you throw impatient players into a game like that you simply get players who KoS.

Acceptable KoS scenarios (survivor edition): -bandits -people who don't lower their weapons when you ask them to -thieves -Hackers (if its at all possible to identify them and kill them) -people who don't follow server rules. Acceptable KoS scenarios (bandit edition): -other bandits -animals -tin cans -noobs -survivors -hackers -birds -thieves ..... pretty much anything that moves The above list only applies to illegitimate bandits.

getting dehydrated in the summer and keeping warm in the winter..... not a bad idea at all. As long as people dont get carried away with this idea.... like being able to wipe your ass with the leaves that fall to the ground in fall....... or being able to piss your name in the snow in winter time. (just some good examples of stupid suggestions that im sure we will see on here)
