Just me on the server running around the airfield, He pops online, I say hello, he says hi (On the side chat), I tell him theres loot at the airfield and that Im buggering off. Two minutes later Im running down a highway in the middle of nowhere, I cannot see anything past the fog but more road and vehicle debris.. Two loud shots from an AS 50 and a 3rd that killed me. They sounded like they were right behind me less then 10 meters, I proceeded to ask him why on earth he did it and he said 'he got scared' then disconnected.. I could be wrong and it was just a huge coincidence that me and another player happened to be within 10 meters of eachother in the middle of nowhere with me not seeing him.. in the middle of nowhere and he got scared... for no reason and shot at me with an AS 50 .. or teleport hack? Fallujah has not been very much fun for me so far. Player name John server ip 199.116.113.84:2302 time 22:30pm ish UK time.

I like to think of myself as a sniper, I do in most games and have always loved target practice at long ranges, even with bow and arrow ^^, I agree with most of what you posted, and the OP! Again though, as you stated the main problem is the abuse of sniper roles in this game, Ive lost count to how many times I've been killed on quick, un armed, fresh spawn runs through elektro / cherno from a sniper round or two.. Its such a pathetic way to kill someone, especially if you dont even want to loot the corpse! Yet it is SO easy to do so with high powered sniper rifles, but who is 'the game' to dictate who can use one and who can not? Ive spotted so many players through my scopes and never felt tempted to pull the trigger as I had no need to. I dont enjoy or get any satisfaction from killing random players, I DO however get great satisfaction from killing a player who deserves it, ie someone attacking my squad, someone who has opened fire on my after I tell them Im friendly etc etc.. and its nice to have a high powered rifle that you KNOW will do the job. Double edge blade though..

Stuff spawns within 10 minutes proved A) the loot spots are clear, B) you're not within 30meters of the empty loot pile.

Still spawning at the coast when ever i get stuck on a loading screen, ctrl alt del end program Arma, then get back into a server.. well.. thats the cause of the coast spawn bug anyway.

Do you - Always check? Loot everything inside regardless if you need it or not, put it on a zombie corpse and hide body? Take only what you need? Wait for the owner to log back in - /kill him / stalk him? Or do what I do - Fill it with meat and surround it with burning fireplaces..?

Hows it wasting time? Its just funny to stack up other peoples tents with meat, in the same way its funny to cover a co workers cubicle in sticky notes.

Imagine how nice it must feel to log on to find that not only has someone found your camp and not blown it up / looted it, but that infact left you a nice gift.. Beans for you sir!

Very similar point as well, mate. Apart from I usually run with a crew and due to ever increasing bugs, problems or what have you with each of their computers (they all have a different bug, one has a receiving then crash every 15 mins, one ragequits on death, one has major graphical issues that are un fix able .. the list goes on) its just me in the woods with a high grade character too paranoid to play for more then 10 minutes without getting hacked. So I now play on private hives, fresh starts and lots of laughs !

The ONLY times i have ever had hacker related issues is on servers which are full or near full. Just something you freakin have to live with till stand alone; if you WANT to play and want your character to progress at least a little - low pop server.

Me too, The only reason why people place these fucking things is to - be a dick. To hoard for their own benefit - A dick. To stop other people from getting anything for themselves - A dick. Just to annoy other people - A dick. So I remove it full stop, If I see someone placing it I treat them as potentially hostile as they are likely to be a dick. T
