If you made the title of the thread less dickish people might not hate on your so much. Anyway, i was going to make a thread like this myself, because the bone breaking at the moment is bullshit, they have 3 options: 1: you spawn with 1 morphene to avoid all the glitches (my bones are almost always broken by glitches or Zeds while i have a ton of health) untill such a time they mend the programming (i support this one the most) 2: remove environmental and Zombie enduced breakage of bones, and only keep bone breaking to pvp when you get axed or shot. when someone breaks my leg by shooting me or axeing it off, thats fair enough, il go crawl to the hospital across the city. its when Zombies do it when you have 10000 blood left in one hit before you have a chance to get anywhere with morphene as loot, or as i have seen happening recently, just randomly breaking my leg when i walk through a door or prone over a 1 inch platform, again, before having a chance to get to stock up. im not saying remove broken bones, just temporarily remove the ability to break them from environmental haZards (falling off of high buildings, walking through doors ect) and make it so Zeds never knock down untill the programming is usable for them. instead of breaking your legs when falling off a high building, just make it so that they lose a lot of blood or just die instantly depending on the hight. NOTE: im not saying this to get rid of bone breaking, but to make it easier for them to code it out of the game while they fix it. (and because the above is such a pain in the ass, is why i support #1) 3: let people repeatedly break their bones and have to respawn and get pissed off with their game because of a mechanic that is not necessary in the game for it to work properly and is more often than not caused by a glitch. (I don't think it's fair to force something that is this broken into the game untill they have either fixed the problems or rework it for the standalone) -
Though i have bitched this thread, i do like the idea of tranqualizing a zed and placing them in a tactical location as defence against other players But that's the ONLY thing i like here..

rather than zooming in more i think they should just start a lot closer in and require you to zoom in to what is currently standard, the defult zoom is too much to comprehend when you first look through and are like "wtf i cant see anything"

yeah this makes sense (i don't understand why the thread name says bullets go though.) simply make it so like ammo types can be used in any like type magazine and be able to fill one mag with 1 or more non full mags.

"I use night vision so there is no way you could possibly remove it!" Anyway, the only problem with night vision in this game is that it means that NOT having them means death at night and any player with them is 10x more powerful than you. i like night vision, its just unbalanced to the point of stupid unfairness. just make them more common so that people that havent been alive for 8 months can actually last more than an hour at night..

unfortunately thats all we can do to get what we want when it comes to giving game suggestions, however im pretty sure that the dev team arent totally ignoring the issue and are probably already looking into it -

How about a steering wheel lock like is used IRL? and the only way to get rid of it is to have a toolbox on hand or of course a key, and the wheel lock itself was a drop item.

We simply cant do this with such a diverse game, anything more than 600 zombies will pretty much destory the frame rate all over

This is morally destroyed and will never be put into the game for legal issues if nothing else. And for starters, tranquilizers have already been turned down over and over again because they would break the pvp, so it wouldnt happen

I think rather than bounties it should be a case that as soon as any bandit for 5 or more murders it would make a bunch of WANTED posters showing the name of the killer and the location of their last kill. nothing more, nothing less. Don't need a bounty because their loot is the bounty. This doesnt serve as a deterant or blow to banditry, since a decent bandit would simply keep on the move and all that is on the poster is the city they last killed someone in. it would be more of a pride thing and a "Don't come to this city unless you feel lucky" thing. it would also make sense if the wanted posters also only spawned in the general area of the last killing

That's what i meant lol. You kill a bandit, you take their loot as a reward. that is the bounty. it works for both survivors and bandits, so its fine as it is

I just want to be able to see a better outline of things that are closer to me. i want to be able to see an outline of a zombie that is 2 ft infront of me, thats all im asking. other than that night is fine.

Bandits already have a bounty, its called loot. The better the bandit, the better the loot they are bound to have.

i dont see a problem with it, those things really munch through ammo so it would be hell to keep maintained and armed. if someone guns you down in that, they probably deserve the kill. not to mention it isnt complete safety, the second they slow down they can be one shot gas tank killed or simply followed untill they get out and shot

I really hate Arma's control system even with re mapped keys. i think its fair to say that especially for dayZ the controls need to be dumbed down to standard FPS levels. battlefield has a pretty decent layout and for DayZ i dont see why it needs to be much different. we dont need all the options that we have and a lot of them are never used. it would also be nice to have better toggle / hold mechanisms such as tap shift to crouch and hold shift to prone (standard FPS controls) rather than having to map them to different keys. im not saying its unusable, its just really annoying. i can understand that the dev team want to do their own thing and experiment by pushing a few boundries and trying different controls, but they need to keep that to the military side of things. when DayZ goes standalone (which im pretty sure it is going to) they will be able to re do the control system, in which case i would like for them to remove all the functions we dont need from arma and add some that are more relevent to DayZ, and dumb them down to CoD or BF standards

I would like it if the AI was advanced a little so that you could get zombies "attention" without instant aggro, kind of like the witch from Left4Dead. however the current AI can most definately not handle it so this kind of feature cannot be implemented until a standalone

I'm sure this has probably been said before, but i'm saying it again. I suggest that the game NEVER spawns junk like empty whisky bottles and crushed coke cans, and instead, once a player consumed a can of beans, they would then have to remove the empty container from their inventory and THROW IT ON THE GROUND! It makes the junk not only more authentic, but if it de spawned after say, 30 minuits, it works as a footprint to show that someone has been there recently. The empty cans would simply be crushed if they were left there 0-15 mins ago, and 16-30 mins would make them rusty. They could also change the description in your inventory to show the state of the can, including "this is a can that you have disgarded" "this can is fairly old, who ever left it has probably moved off" or "this can is empty, but still fresh. whoever used it may still be nearby."

if what you are trying to do here is lable good people from bad people with icons there is an easier way to do it. "murders : xxx" "Bandit kills : xxx" Above their player name, avaiable in regular servers
