My laptop (I've had for about a year) is starting to become overheating prone. I already play on a flat surface and keep turning it off to leave it to cool down for 15 minutes. Does dust built up inside cause it to overheat as well?

I play on Public hives and I haven't came across a hacker for a good while. A good bonus with public servers are no sidechat popstars.
