More than likely if the Standalone is a success. In my view it just would fail miserably, it would become Minecraft Xbox 2.0, a completely dumbed down version of the game and comply with casual gamers.

Never knew of a 30 slot backpack in vanilla DayZ. The biggest is a Coyote or Czech rucksack with 24 slots.

DayZ 2017 is set 5 years after the outbreak. For all we know the outbreak started in the first days of April (Mod released). No one really knows since there is no background story yet.

I don't mind snipers, but yeah choppers can go, they serve no purpose in the game.

They will be deciding a timezone to release it. I wouldn't expect a certain date but a period of time like November/December.People who say its going to be released just after June shouldn't get their hopes too high.

L85A2's are already in there somewhere and it wouldn't make sense to have British weapons in a Eastern European country.
