Hey everyone, been gone/not playing for several months just waiting for things to progress a bit while I did other things. Saw the steam thing pop up and figured I might want to get another taste of the game since I'm frustrated/bored with other things. I have an existing steam arma install, then I have several patches old install of the mod. Can I install the steam Dayz mod and it overwrite everything correctly? Or should I just wipe out all my installs and just re do arma2/arma2CO/dayzmod thru steam. Apparently custom servers and mods has taken off? Does the browser window have anything to help me identify vanilla servers? (At least list that it's a different map?) Are there amazing custom servers out there that I should know about or is chernarius still the bee's knees. Thanks for any info!

I'm not familiar with arma's engine, but in other games the admin when using certain commands would show up as a pb or whatever system action.

Keep seeing people mention. I finally found one thinking they mythical. Are there any effects or just an easter egg of sorts. Scared to drink it till I know.

At least 2 teleports, I logged back in after running twice, while grabbing some loot before running back to civilization was slayed.

Sorry right sub forum this time. US 146 just got all teleported to hill with tents and a soldier in armor and camo. Started whacking everyone. I tried alt + f4 but my computer for some reason wouldnt. (Alt f4's other programs fine). Hopefully minimized and force quit hopefully in time. Shot the guy with pdw no damage. Didnt get a name in my panic. Don't know if a report like this can have anyone pull server files or something and ban the fuck.
