Today I was held up at gunpoint by 2 idiot bandits, telling me to drop all my gear, or they'd kill me. I zig-zagged towards them, and hacked away at them, killing one, then the other.

I later found out they only had a magazine a piece, and were trying to scare me into giving them my items, but alas and alack, for Indeed they got hacked (to pieces).

ALL HAIL THE HATCHET. SLAYER OF BANDIT AND SURVIVOR ALIKE.

Hey, i think I got the fix to the errors; just copy the Addons folder from your base Arma 2 to the Addons folder for Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead (Make an addons folder if it doesnt exist).

Having the EXACT same issue. Tried most of the common fixes, to no avail.
