How do you do it? how can I announce I'm in an area and in need of help?

I keep reading in various posts if people with more than one main weapon. I assume we have the ability to store them in our bags if we have sufficient space. If this is true, is there anywhere I can find out how many bag slots a weapon will take up? I foolishly tried putting my m16 in my bag only to discover I'd lost it (only had 3-4 slots available)..... To make matters worse, I thought I'd test it at the NWAF. Not a fun place to be with only a handgun.

If you're stuck indoors and can't open a door, use a smoke grenade; they seem to bring the whole f*cking house down at the moment.

I don't believe women can wear ghilli suits...... However, if you swim far enough out to sea there's a glitch that will put you ina scuba suit! :)

I've managed to get two profiles, although I only play on one of them now. I created a second profile in arma 2 (as I accidentally set up the original profile with my teal name and really wanted my usual gaming tag). I can't remember how I managed it but I will check/test it tonight when I get tine to play and come back to you here with my findings.

Hi guys Just looking for a little advice on infections, coz I've got one. I've read dayz wiki and it says I lose blood slowly until 6000 blood. Fair enough, got plenty of steaks. But each time I eat one my blood will continue to tick down again. However, I'm not sure what will happen when it reaches 6000. Is that it? Once it hits 6000 the infections over, or if I eat again my blood will start to go down again? I know I need antibiotics, but I'm miles from a medical centre and I also know they're a rare spawn. Thanks in advance .

Why ask questions when theres lots of information on it already, a youtube clip and, perhaps, try using google if you dont understand the reference? How do you like your own medicine?

Hmmm maybe I caught the clod before I started running; I did go afk to get a pizza and left my guy prone in a tree just outside the NE airfield at night, and it was raining at the time. I'm sure I'll be able to survive it for a while but learning that antibiotics are very rare on wiki was a bit upsetting; you'd have thought antibiotics were common in hospitals/medic stations etc -surely it's more common than blood! lol

Cheers dude, thought that may be the case. I know of spot near where I am that had 3 tents full of stuff. I was looting them of weapons and didnt think to look at their medical supplies as I had morphine, epi-pens etc etc and thought I would get by with that. What surprised me though was that wiki says running will keep your temperature up. i was running for a good 10-15 misn when I noticed my temp flashing.

The other day I was logged onto a server (not sure which, but a UK server) and I went on a little trip to Green Hill. As soon as I neared the buildings I started to get screen tearing, but only when I was looking at the buildings. If I turned around and looked back down the slope/into the woods again everything looks fine. I could just about manage to crawl about the buildings and check for loot and then just shrugged it off. Last night I logged onto another server (US one this time) and went on a jolly to the NW airfield. No problems outside the airfield but as soon as i entered the perimeter and was looking to towards the barraks I experienced the same screen tearing. Again, if I turned around/looked away, it corrected itself. These are the only two areas on the map I've been to that I've had this problem. I'll be trying the NW airfield again tonight on a different server to see if I have any more luck but was just wondering if anyone else had experienced this before. Reason topic says "hack?" is I was also wondering if it is a possible hack as I believe that these two places have kewl lootz and those naughty little hackers want it all to themselves and making the area(s) impossible to navigate to other players. Or maybe I've just been unlucky.

I've not committed any murders on unarmed people.... yet. I've got into a few firefights now and have either died or been crippled and had to crawl away only to die of cold/hunger/thirst out in the wilderness somewhere. The main reason I'm the one who comes a cropper is that I've got to get better at hitting moving targets. Now, I could leearn on zombies but then there's the chance of getting hurt. Why would I want to risk that?! No no, probably best I shoot at something unarmed and mobile.... spawners. Ok I agree it is slightly annoying to spawn and then get shot within the first few minutes... but then you could look on the bright side; you've not lost any loot!

I'm not a bandit. In fact Ive got 0 murders to my name, not only on my current character, but on past ones too. I've rarely seen other people in the game but one event has made me think it's best to kill first and ask questions later. On my current character I spawned near chemo an spent two days in the town gearing up to head out into the wilderness. Just outside of chemo I shoot and gut a pig because I'd taken a couple of knocks from zombies in the town. I tab a few k north into woodlands before lighting a fire and cook my meat. This takes me a while as this is the first time I've had all te materials to carry out the task. Just finish cooking and hit 3 on my num pad; there he is, 30m away crawling in my direction. I knew his intent. He wanted to kill me. If he wanted to open communication he could've hid behind a tree and tried to talk to me. No, not this guy. I dropped and rolled left behind a tree, poked my head out and got off a few shots at his legs as he scrabbled behind a tree. I wait, I see no movement. I wait more. Perhaps he's passed out. I creep to the tree and nothing. He's gone. He's alt f4. He's a bandit. He's a coward. But it's more infectious than the undead. I'm now a bandit.

How do I get blood back? Bandages seem to stop me losing it - thats sensible enough. I believe there are blood transfusions, but I've not yet found one and not sure where to look. I took pain killers but they didn't give me more blood...... people say to travel with them an morphine all the time. Does morphine regain blood? If so, where do I find morphine?? If not, whats the point in them? I've only been playing a few days and have avoided the bigger towns thus far. The smaller towns along the coast don't have any that I can find. Any help would be great
