    Okay so this worked for me: I joined a server, but I waited at the screen where you see all the players in the server untill it said 'BattlEye succesfullly updated'. And now it works just fine

    I got into a server once, but after a few seconds it still kicked me because of Battleye.

    My problem is exactly the same: very long waiting time, and "Battleye failed to update"-error. I have the newest beta and the newest Battleye.
