    I think the 8 bottles worth + 20 stuff slots would be to big. I love the idea of camel back style backpacks, so + 1 vote.

    Yep. If you'd gone about this suggestion in another way, say "to hide loot form others," it'd be taken more seriously.

    One: You are playing an Alpha Two: You did not pay to play Rocket's mod, he is under no reasonable demand to cater to you're problems Three: If you are not having fun, you are under no requirement to play Four: If you want things, you usually need to ask nicely Five: This is the suggestions forum, not the bug report forum Six: Occasionally, I believe, the dev team will reset peoples characters, though this isn't the way to go about it.

    No, many bandits do not exist simply to kill as many people as fast as possible. Though, there IS a playerbase that considers the main goal player killing, but they're not bandits in the cannon of the game, they're just visitors to the Mod.

    I should be more specific. I think it'd be interesting, and very possible, to add the Zed infection to players. What I don't like is the player actually PLAYING as the Zed afterwards. Rocket loves ideas that add to the difficulty of the mod, and this would be a nice touch. If, when you became a Zed, you we're shown the "game over" screen, but your body stayed behind as an AI controlled Zed rather than a corpse, it'd be perfect.

    I'm not the one who usually says this, because i've been surprised many times with whats actually capable, but I don't think tracking would be easy to implement in any way shape or form. Especially when weight, ect are taken into consideration. Its a cool idea, but an unlikely one. Dogs have been in the works for a while now, you can even see the dog model in ARMA already, in the editor. Melee is heavily discussed on the forum, if we're gonna see it, we'll likely see it soon. Zombie behavior is also widely discussed, we'll likely see changes during Alpha and Beta I personally don't like the idea of a player becoming a Zed, as Zed behavior is nothing like Human behavior, though it'd be very cool if player bodies became Zeds after death.

    I don't think I could bring myself to shoot anyone pushing a shopping cart around town filled with beans and scrap metal.

    I think Bandits value they're lives as much as survivors. The means to get the higher-end gear/stockpiles they have are different, but in the end they don't want to lose it all. Perhaps the bandits who roam the coast with a Makarov and kill survivors until they themselves are dead don't value life, but thats not a great majority of players.

    Somebody suggested this the other day, I believe, and Rockets response was along the lines of "that's how it was at the beginning, and we will NEVER go back!" Not sure the reasoning why, its just what I read.

    Morale System

    There are no "attributes" to simulate in DayZ. Morale is very real as is. I already know i'm in a bad mood when i've been playing for four days, its raining, I can't find a lake, and my leg is broken. In the same way, I know i'm in a good mood when I successfully trade with a stranger, meet a nice guy to work with, or find that pond I couldn't find earlier.

    Death is already valuable, for those with the giddiup to improve themselves rather than spending the day running up and down the coast they're John Wayne. Seriously, it is poor game design to force your players out for a day, or an hour, every time they're killed. Its not exactly hard to die in DayZ, and being easy to kill doesn't necessarily mean life isn't valued.

  19. Its sketchy. Some windows you can fire through, some windows are bullet proof until broken, some are apparently considered brick walls.

    It is implied, i believe, that you are sleeping when logged off. Your food/water still drains, and I would assume your doing something other than standing still.

    Standoff at Krasnotsav Control Tower

    THIS is what i'm talking about. Enough of those 19 minuet "heres what i'm doing in DayZ today guys" videos everyone is making. This was action packed, exciting to watch. Awesome firefight. Edit: Also, if I we're the OPFOR, and had clairvoyance, after the standoff on the stairway at 1:30ish i'd have snuck back out, hit the ladder, and grabbed you from behind in the tower. With your adrenalin going, you we're not covering both access points for a good minuet and a half.
