As you said, stick to the servers with less than 20 people. These don't offer as much a target. Have patience while the DevTeam works out the hackers, bugs, ect. Remember your playing a free mod with a perfect concept - don't get upset when things do go sour. Don't get attached to your gear.

I've logged 157 hours on ARMA II, according to Steam. Only 25 on DayZ. ARMA II is a fantastic game, whether in single player, multiplayer (without DayZ,) modding potential, and the editor. DayZ didn't even exist when ARMA was in its prime, its simply been standing out as an exceptional game. Give it a try while your waiting for DayZ to become more stable.

Attacking others for quoting the head developer of the mod?
