Location routing is when you have a physical location and then connections are pipelined to a specific country for better pings and connections. We actually have 3 main physical hubs. The primary: Lux, the secondary: France and the third: Germany. But yes our main is LUX. If it is pipelined, the dev team has allowed other country codes to be used as we have FR, DE, LU, SE, ES, NL and UK. Johnny

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen, I would like to report on the status of the motherland's most successful diplomatic incursion unit ever. We have been trekking though the lands of chernarussia for weeks and have achieved many of our goals. We have established control over many small areas up north, rescued or assisted many survivors and travelled the lands to create the largest dayz survivor group out there. I have provisioned extra vodka rations to the troops for their monumental victory. The Kremlin has stated that it still wishes that we gather survivors to assist in the fight. So if you see us, hold you fire and have a shot of vodka with us. Johnny -
Thats a good idea, thanks Chauz. I will let Lee know. Also I wanted to inform people about something I read earlier today: The poster wrote the following things -Vilayer has slow support response -The owner works a day job -Sudden restarts for updates I wish to respond to this as I feel he is misguided in his assumptions: For the slow support response, we have a very limited DayZ support staff now as most of the staff works with the other games we host. We often find ourselves getting tickets about issues that really aren't dependent on us as hosts (such as hive issues, hackers and vehicles, etc etc...) so we are completely weighed down by tickets. However if you use our skypes and ts, you will find that your issues will be resolved rather quickly. On any given day we recieve 125 new tickets (120 of which are for dayz and 5 of which are for the loads of other games we host) and we try to get to them all. I would highly recommend skype or TS as those are the fastest. We are looking into hiring more staff soon. For the "owner's day job". Actually, I'm the only one that works a day job, as a US Intelligence Liason to the British Consulate. I work hard and travel frequently, but come home and help people as best I can. I keep this post up to date, because I'm the prototype dayz server admin for Vilayer. I help when my schedule allows. As for other support staff for DayZ, Lee, Ian and Jeremy are on a lot. Lee (the actual owner) works his ass off to get things in order, but you must understand that he has to sleep and live life too. If you can't understand that then I'm sorry, but thats just dumb. If something takes longer, Lee is very quick to reimburse for time missed plus more. He works hard. Ian and Jeremy are also on a lot as well, but not 24/7 because sleep exists. Our support clock nearly covers 24 hours a day (because of mucked up sleep schedules) but not all the time. Lastly, as for updates. I have mentioned to lee to put an email out about updating to clients. I think thats a good idea. However, also please consider that instead of you having to update and go through the hassle of figuring it out, all you have to do is sit there (and sometimes press a single button).. I will try to get it so that updates are warned about. Thats all I have as I just wanted to write this to let people know. I also wanted to let people know the dedication we have to this mod and our DayZ clients to ensure that they are happy. Have a good weekend Johnny PS- Lee and Ian are on all weekend, I'm not, but will be back sunday. Happy Zombie killing

Lots and Lots of room :) -
Hey Guys, I'm not sure why this isn't more emphasized, but we need to have a scripts.txt file that works and some way to make it so that good things aren't logged, only hacks. My servers create about a half gig txt file each day and its a pain in the arse to go through. Some of my servers keep getting fucked, can someone give some help? Much appreciated, Johnny

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen, We have gotten our new boxes in and will be provisioning waiting orders TODAY! I do want to remind everyone that because of a massive amount of random dayz mod tickets (like tents spawning and getting teleported), that Skype and TS are the best ways to contact us. I apologize for this but DayZ has really backlogged us. We are bringing on some more support staff soon. TS3: ts3.vilayer.com Skype (Johnny): capecodcaper NOTE: I work during daytime US hours and I will get to you ASAP! Skype (Lee): lee.netarus Skype (Ian): ian.thmpson Also DayZ is not instant setup because we have to manually go in and setup each server. When we get a free minute our website will reflect this change. Setup time is anywhere from 1-48 hours! It usually is less than 12 hours. Best Regards and thanks for being awesome clients! Johnny

Hello Guys, We have forced the 95054 patch to all servers. However Battleye has had issues, as you can see here: http://dayzmod.com/f...pdate-battleye/ If you are having issues on client side, you will need to update your battleye client for your game: Here are the files: http://www.battleye.com/download.html The battleye has been pushed to all servers, you need to just update your client If you need help, pop on TS and let us know ts3.vilayer.com Johnny

I will disregard the 2nd two posts, as that member has been warned, taunted and flamed enough by people in the forums and talked to in my organization. I appreciate the level of immersion your group of people offer, I appreciate the liking you have taken to the CQF as an adversary as well. I like that you infiltrate, kill my guys and add a challenge. I say that with all sincerity. I do not like that the doors have been opened for people who have never encountered us to flame my group that I work hard to maintain. I hope you understand my approach on that view. Kind Regards Johnny -
Repeatedly kicked from US366 (Villayer, used by CQF)
[email protected] replied to izmak's topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
Izmak, You want assurances, sure I can tell you that if the person who is in my group continues to kick for no reason he will be booted. But as for an apology, you will have to seek it from him. . I appreciate the challenge you afford to us in firefights and the lightened atmosphere you help to provide. However, I don't think it a good idea for this to go from a cheat report on a RCT in my organization to flaming the entirety of it. Kind Regards Johnny
