You mean you rent servers from them? Or have signed up for the their free reseller program? That does not mean you are a "partner" and can just take their content and use it on your own. When you say "Provide servers at a low cost" you mean provide a vps that cant even run DayZ epoch? Your trying to sell a vps here, not a dayz server. Im sorry but please do not try to feed BS to this community. I have been part of the dayz community for over a year and one way or another the dedicated/web/vps hosting market for about 10 years now. This is a BS post and you know it.

Also forgot to add, that vps they are advertising wont even run DayZ, My epoch server uses 450-500mb ram just on first time load. Looks more like they are trying to sell a VPS and not a dayz server, which if that is the case I think this should not be here. EDIT Seems like a bate and switch. Get someone to pay for the lowest price plan, person gets server cant run dayz, get them to pay for "upgrades" so they can run dayz.

It kind of is. A rule inherently is there so that if you break it there is a consequence. If there is no one enforcing or even caring about the rules setup over a year ago then why follow something that is clearly out of date? Heck there have been times where the razor has even said feel free to do X or Z when X or Z were against those ancient rules. While I agree with you to some extent in this case there is literally no reason whats so ever to follow those rules.

Whats wrong with that response? At least they are being honest and not just saying "hardware failure" like vilayer does when they don't pay the bills. Also, I don't think "According to their website they have servers available in France, so why couldn't he set me up with a new IP" is a valid thing as if you look at the bottom of the stock thing it says last updated 7/29 almost a month ago. Im not sure why you would think this is "Unlickely to ever be fixed" as HFB has been around longer then anyone else its not like they are just going to close up and leave, they will fix your issue.

I think you are mistaken, You can host a Overwatch server on what ever yes, but none that are connected to the midnightgaming run hive, that includes xtreamgaming. There is only 9 Official hive overwatch servers at the moment, non of which are run by any gsp http://gyazo.com/d48fe7a30ab8320453747940068229e7 I have joined several of the xstreamgaming overwatch servers and they are NOT connected to the same hive as the official midnight servers.

You cant buy an Official hive overwatch server. None of the game server hosts have/can sell them. The only official hive servers are run by the creators of overwatch them selves.

hfb has had overwatch for awhile now, same with epoch and sahrani. Also looks like vilayer has overwatch and epoch, not sure about sahrani.

I also don't understand why you are so defensive about a simple comment saying they don't care about the official hive rules, when the truth is they don't anymore. How you took me stating they don't care about the hive rules into I don't respect the devs is just astonishing. I should also mention the only person working on the mod atm is a person who are NOT working on SA, rocket handed the mod development off to Razor quite awhile back, a person who does not, and "most" likely will not, be working on SA in any shape or form anytime soon. I assume you were trying to defend rocket in this (maybe thinking I was dumb and thought he was working on the mod?) even though he is not involved with mod development whats so ever.

The official hive is pretty much a free reign atm, From what I know 99.9% of the rules were pulled, and there is no one enforcing them anymore. For example, the mod devs dont give two craps about a 10 slot official hive server. Notice how old that post is, almost a full year. The rules stopped being enforced or even cared about like 7 months ago lol. The mods on here even recommend you go on a private hive since the official hive is a free reign atm. EDIT. The official hive is like 2% of servers if that now, I see you signed up over a year ago when it was 99% of servers and the devs cared about it.

Just an fyi, HFB is bigger then vilayer for dayz servers lol. Heck do a quick commander search for "HFB" and do one for "vilayer" there is twice as many branded HFB servers then there are vilayer. Yes not all servers are branded but it should be a good indication since vilayer charges for branding removal and HFB doesn't so naturally there would be more branded vilayer servers then un-branded. Also keep in mind HFB is the oldest dayz server host.

If you are trying to go more then 50 players with dayz.st it wont happen, their hardware cant handle it. Look at Vilayer or HFB which use high clock speed E3 servers, which can handle around 60.

If you plan on running a lot of custom stuff, Its best to get a vps or dedi. Hosts like dayz.st, survivalservers, vilayer, and hfb are better if you want a closer to stock server. I do however know that both vilayer and hfb have like custom mod things which allow you to throw your files in a certain folder like custom mod or something and run what ever you want. I also believe that survival servers lets you edit your command line (I could be mistaken). But like I said, if you want a lot of crazy stuff vps or dedi is the way to go.

In my personal experience the only host you should be blocking is Dayz.st, the rest like vilayer and hfb seems to have much better running servers then dayz.st. I only say that because from what I know dayz.st puts like 30 servers on a machine or something crazy like that and when the server is at like 30 players it lags like ass, every vilayer and hfb servers I have seen there is like 5 on each. And the servers run fuck tons better. Also matters if the owner of the server cares about their server and actually restarts it often. I know a lot of server admins that restart their server like 1 time a day which is not nearly enough.

What are you trying to compensate for? If you want something like gmt/utc +8 [just an example] just set your server to utc +8. There is no need to compensate.

You are aware that UTC and GMT are the same time right? For example if it is 9am GMT it is 9am UTC.

You clearly have not been hosting game servers long enough to understand how pretty much all of them work dayz also being one. Higher clock speed = higher fps/ticks I guarantee that a dayz server with 100 vehicles and 50 players that has been running for 2 hours will lag like nobody's business on an E5, And showing your tcadmin cpu usage and resources clearly show that you do not understand how to host servers. The overall usage means diddly squat. I will not argue with a teenager about game servers who's first argument for E5's is "but mom look at my cpu usage it is not 100% so its good"
