i been sitting here for a good.. 15~20 minutes now. guess cant blame patch day flooding the hive server at all the same time just like blizzard's patch days

oh i almost forget the max ping on the server is set on 100 currently

loaded 1.7.2.4 patch on my server ( arma patch 95389) when starting the game up, the loading screen seems to be stuck in limbo at forever loading. you can try to get past the loading screen on this server DayZ - NOTD01 (1.7.2.4/95389) (Veteran|3D:ON|CH:ON) dayzmod.com - Night of the Dead crap nvm i need to do another update to the server shutting it down for a min

just use the dayz commander http://www.dayzcommander.com/ once installed go to the versions tab near the top. and click on check now, you will most likely see your arma 2 patch is outdated and you should just download and update it to the latest patch. Some servers will still run on the patches aside from the newest one. but save yourself a headache and grab the latest arma2 patch latest arma2 client patch is currently 95389 -

roughly a hour by foot, 30 minutes by bike, and a lot faster by air or car/truck/bus more time if you have to stop at the local town to find food and water or in the plains/ forest to hunt for meat -
well if it's a clan server, most likely they're going to play on it exclusively. so having connected to the hive server serves no meaning.. Since Dayz is a free mod that rocket has developing,with no attachments, ie terms of service, licenses, hackers will continue to run rampant, and admins will continue to act as judge and executioners till hackers are under control and on a leash.

Every time i turn my server off, then do some form of update, whether a time zone adjustment, updating the motd, or changing the difficulty. After firing the server back up and joining the server. Does anyone ever get spawned in the middle of nowhere like 9000 meters West of the closest town?

Just because a admin is in game, doesn't mean he would do anything. Admin currently is just a title without any special powers. If the admin was following the rules like everyone else kicking or banning is prohibited. The only things admins can really do is ninja-server restarts without telling anyone. ( i know douche move ). If the server was in a name tag off mode. How would a admin find out who is the hacker?
