you can get out by holding a and d together in like 6 seconds. many ppl don't know that, but if they do, it takes all the fun out of the moment :(

okay i will check that later with my mate :D but i like to surprise handcuff somebody, when he is drinking or eating. i got out of prestine handcuffs in under 10 seconds by holding a and d together.

you can find them in trainstations and in the shipwreck (blunt rocks). i got 3 so far, lucky me :D

well i just got sick by doing that.

i shot a LOT of players with my mosin. just a few non-headshots were 1-shot-kills. my last battle (okay, ambush :P) was yesterday. he had a raincoat, an assault vest and a mountain backpack. i was like 6m away and needed 3 hits in the chestarea to kill him. maybe there are more demage-zones than just head and rest of the body? or maybe items/gear actually protect you from some demage? dean are you reading this? I REALLY WANT TO KNOW.

yesterday i met a freshspawn in cherno, asked if i could help him. he said he is dying of dehydration, so i dropped him a few sodas. as soon as he started to drink, i handcuffed him and forced him to drink disinfection spray. he died immediately. now ask yourself...compared to that... are you a bad guy?

you ignore the fact that 3rd person always was part of the game and it was always a personal choice which one you want to use. so why change that? just because YOU (and some others) think that 1st person is so much more gaming experience, you want to remove 3rd person for EVERYBODY. you want to force other players to play it your way, because you think it's the only way it should be and other opinions are "stupid". that's just bullshit and pure childish behavior. i don't ignore other opinions at all. i don't want to take something from you. i just think that every player should be able to play like they want to play. if you prefere 1st person - fine... then use it. but stop this narrow minded rage. but who cares. i highly doubt that 3rd will be removed :) so this was my last post in this thread. qq more if you want. show everybody how butthurt you are.

anti-balistic and anti-stab vests are already in the game. can be found in the shipwreck and trainstations.

it's the same with handcuffs.

i see at least 3-4 every day of playing. cars, barns, schools, tec building... maybe you should try looting on fresh servers.

ehm sorry? there was never a dayz without 3rd person view. so i don't get the point "you can't handle 1st person? then dayz is is not for you". that's just bullsh*t. 3rd person view was always a part of the game and that shouldn't change just because some stibborns like you don't like it. if you play on a (future) 3pv only server, you know what's coming and nobody can complain about advantages. i don't know why this thread is still open. it's just a war between two groups.

fck yeah! please give us legkicks, spinning elbows and takedowns :D but seriously, some kind of tripping or throwdowns would be great. even with a raised gun. because i feel veeery helpless without my axe.

well the only (body)armor in the game so far is the BLUE press vest, and there is nothing tactical about it :D in my opinion protection is better than two more pockets. (press vest and assault vest compared)

okay that's your part of firefights... what if... hmmm, let me put this doubtful idea on the table... some other player kills/attacks you on sight? look at all the threads about kos and banditry. you must be new if you think that you can avoid firefight at all :D btw: i can confirm an anti-stab vest aswell. found two so far. same spawnzone like press vest.

yeah, well, that's just like... your opinion man. why would you...or ANYBODY... bother about 3rd-person when you are playing on a 1st-person only server? don't be so stubborn. making it a server setting is the best solution.

hahaha you can't plan that :D you can find the press vest in trainstations and in the shipwreck (bedrooms, downstairs, rear end) near blunt rocks. according to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LdcVPKD803E&feature=player_detailpage#t=649 it stops one single round before getting useless. i have it right now and feel kinda safe. but i've not been shot at yet.

i've tested alt+f4 once... nothing happened.

i found pieces for east in the west, west in the east and so on. coincidence or do they spawn that way?

why some of you want to force other players to play it "your" way? make it a server setting and everybody is happy.

running, jumping and boxing are the key to get out.

i guess it's not military. so where is a chance to grab one? how many pockets does it have?

aw yiss i got it today. lookin' good on my all-over green clothes. does it actually protect?
