Same old story all of a sudden your ported into a area in this case was the main military base and they announced in global chat something about thunderdome yadda yadda, I got somewhere safe and left the server waiting for admin to shut the server down and hopefully kick or better ban the hackers. While this is only the 2nd time for me being teleported sadly this was on my friends server he us paying for .... unfortunately we did not get the name of the 2 hackers that did this. Is there someway to determine who did this so we can ban or even better global ban them from the mod?

I really love the mod but this makes me want to stop playing until there is a better way to manage hackers.

No one should be punished because of some idiotic hackers that appear to have too much free time, would be nice if there was a way the server could be reverted back enough to get gear back if you died during one of these hacks. Should you die to the normal bandits, zeds and so forth well then that's just part of the game this however is not!

Its a shame that no matter how many posts are made about what admins can and can't do people still accuse them of basically being hackers. You guys that pay for these servers then have to put up with this crap ..I am impressed I would just shut down the server personally and let someone else deal with it! Thank you for your contribution and patience! -
Try going to your steam library right click on Arma 2 OA click properties, then when that pops up go to local files and do the "verify integrity of game cache" option see if that helps.

What tool have you had to pass on that went in your toolbelt because you ran out of space? I could be wrong but believe there is room to have 1 of each tool for your toolbelt? Also in all honesty what your really want is a axe its a awesome weapon and chops wood you will need eventually, combine that with your hunting knife and some matches and your one well fed survivor! :)

they do not take up Weight (afaik) is not a factor and those items go into toolbelt slots that does not effect your 12 generic slots or backpack space.

Personally for me survival is about doing what is going to keep me alive and safe and that's making survivor friends to watch my back, avoiding bandits (or shooting them if needed) and patching people up as I go along provided they don't kos me! Your method appears to be more about dyeing then living? ;) -
EU11 - hacker spawning stuff on berezino coastline

People pay monthly fee for these servers, one would think it would be the responsibility of the host company to keep hackers off their servers? Personally I would move to another server until the issue is resolved..but that's just me! -

Does not discourage you just requires you to plan ahead and coordinate with your friends! Also when you log in it tells you what main city you are near, so that alone makes it pretty easy to meet up? -
I had this happen when I first started playing, at that time I crawled everywhere and it saved my life when I was teleported into a large hanger in the middle of nowhere with 20 other people. Once I realized most people were only shooting at the survivors standing I was able to log out normally using abort etc.

This is not quite fair or true...to even get on the white list you have to save someone then they (the person healed) have to post about it here, I would like to eventually be with TMW but I have to earn that privileged. Telling people to not trust anyone offering help just because they are not yet on the list is counter productive, everyone should be cautious I agree but don't let paranoia get the best of you! -
Perhaps we shiver or other visible indicators?

Were you on US 1476 by chance? Friends and I were inside hospital replenishing supplies when grenade went off about scared us half to death! Btw nice going on the bandit kill.... -
Nice to see someone without the "I was kos so now I am killing everyone I see" attitude! Friend and myself just met a nice player we were both in a warehouse and I had closed the door behind us he came in with a lee enfield (sp) we had our axes out. Anyway I jumped into direct voip game chat and was saying friendly then typed it in chat also just to be safe, also I made a point to turn away so as not to appear threatening. In the end I think he was just a decent person that thankfully did not follow the kos rule!

You appear to have had a thread issue when starting this and made 3 duplicate threads might want to get them closed, I did the same thing when posted first time and the forums lagged out! ;)

I have yet to see any antibiotics they seem extremely rare? Even so hope someone is able to help you.
