if you think PvP is the problem in this game, you dont understand the game. Outside of Cherno, I have yet to run into someone anyway. PvP is what makes the game great and exciting...without it, just having to avoid zombies would get mundane and boring. Yes there are some people that kill you on site....that would happen in real life as well. They either dont want to take the risk that you would kill them first, or they just dont want to take the risk that you'll do something stupid and attract Zeds. If PvP is your problem with this game, then its not the game for you.

my 3rd death. I was in cherno trying to get supplies. Another player saw me and I bolted. I didnt have a weapon or anything but he was following me and I knew he was going to kill me. I had turned a corner and startled a bunch of zombies. The guy saw me and took me out with his rifle. Once he did that I think he realized he made a mistake because as the hourglass was running out for me, he got swarmed by zombies and actually died before I did.

i have the same issue. I am on my 4th life and havent been alive longer than an hour or so. Havent found one source of food yet....all I find are empty tin cans.

I follow this rule except if i spawn right next to those cities. They obviously will have a ton of loot but I wont take the time to trek there because there is a high chance of getting shot. All the supplies that you can find in those cities you can find elsewhere. The only thing I seem to have trouble finding is food.

I think spreading out the zombies would be a nice touch so that you have to always be prepared for the unexpected. The more I play the game, the less PvP actually becomes a factor for me. In 2 days of playing, I've come across 2 people....both in cherno. One, we saw each other, looked at each other and just bolted in opposite directions. The other, I had just spawned by cherno, and was unarmed and didnt have anything. The guy shot me in the face and then got swarmed by zombies so it was kinda funny to me.

Unless I spawn right next to cherno or elektro, I do not go into those cities. I have found everything that I need, including weapons outside of the cities. I just started playing this weekend and after 2 deaths inside those 2 cities, I looked elsewhere to find supplies....

yeah I found this game to have a steeper learning curve than most. I just started playing over the weekend. I am terrible at this game as I am learning but its still very fun. Each death I learned more and more about the game and how important sound is and affects this game. To me, the game is very fun and is more of a strategy game than anything. The only issue I am having at the moment is developing more patience and finding food. If you dont have patience and just run into villages, you will hate this game.
