Well...just as you said before, we can go on about it forever, you may feel that's an easier option, but I just feel its innocent until proven guilty, not the other way around and because someone gets pissed off at you, they can point a finger make an accusation then sit back and i then have to prove i haven't done anything. It doesn't work like like in real life for a reason. But anyway...I have said my piece, so I'll bow out of this thread and leave the floor to whoever wants it.

***Yawn*** ....Sounds like Barrack Room and Internet Lawyer babble to me...lots of words, but just meaningless hot air debating the rights and wrongs of the law so you can puff your chest out to prove a moot point that no one really cares about anyway. Some people are doer's others are talkers and complainers, you fall into the latter catagories.....If you really want a say in how servers should be run, put your money where your mouth is. Instead of complaining on forums about bad admins, host your own ArmA or DayZ server and contribute to the Community, show everyone what a good admin should be, then others might take some notice of what you have to say....I am sure your reply will be full of your own self importance, sprinkled with insults and swear words here and there, but it really doesn't mean that much to others who do something meaningful for the ArmA and DayZ Community. Everyone wants their opinions heard, so long as someone else pays for it, but most like you wont put their hand in their pocket and pay for a server, but you moan about how bad others are at running theirs. You bought a game a couple of days ago that's been released in its various forms and addon's since 2006 and now you think your opinion on others who have supported ArmA since it came out really means much?...it doesn't... Your contribution to the ArmA and DayZ Community so far has been ZERO....nothing but words and complaints. Talk is cheap, host your own server and show everyone what a good admin should be then....but i am sure you'll find an excuse not to... :rolleyes:

you need to contact Battleye, they issue global bans not DayZ.

Nice...probably just a glitch, buy another copy of Arma OA and log in again with your hacks running and let us know what happens.

Without a doubt there are proper douchbag admins... but just as many if not more douchbag players. ;)

Nobody should really pass judgement until the admin makes a post (if any) explaining his/their action for the ban. I am not saying Sephisto has done something wrong, but i've seen so many posts by players claiming the admin victimised them for a variety of reasons, which then turns out to be not exactly the truth when the server logs get shown. The ban message was stupid and maybe a bit childish on the Admins part. but it may very well have been a case of mistaken identity on their part in thinking they were banning someone previously kicked for exploiting something.

Hold on a minute...Their forum?? its not their forum...they are a minority bunch of noobs who most of them only probably bought ArmA OA from Steam 3 weeks ago, so they could get in on the latest hacks and play the "hacker" shooting players on DayZ. Its not their forum its everyone's forum and the vast majority of players play fair...They are a minority group of immature nobodies paying someone else to write hacks for them. Most of them will soon get bored with ArmA and drift back to other games that meet their game requirements...a small map, a bunch of run n' gunners and people willing to make money by writing hacks for games by big name companies like EA. DayZ is very popular at the moment but that will change as time goes on and the real supporters of the ArmA community will continue to support and play ArmA. If your one of those guys who doesn't want to continue to support the ArmA community, so be it...the rest of us who always have will continue to do so. The sad reality is that decent players let themselves get upset over hacks, its a fact of life in online gaming. You just have to ignore the idiots and play each game on its merits...and when you get the chance, as has happened in the last couple of days on these forums you dish out a bit of stick to the morons who deserve it by thinking they are hackers.

Why should any fair player even give a thought to people who obviously don't care what other players think or see as being honest in the first place? so let the chips fall where they may. - Why is this happening Its happening because these Noobs don't care what you, me, rocket or anyone else thinks, they are out to please themselves, they don't abide by any rules that everyone else thinks of as being fair, honest and that enhances the gameplay for everyone. They are only interested in doing what they want. So why should anyone try to treat them as being fair and honest individuals when they get busted and start whinging about it on a forum, even after rocket makes a post saying please don't post your global bans here?. - The majority of em are really trolls or they have a "reason"? Maybe they are trolling, maybe not, in the end who really cares because that's what happens on forums, you get individuals who just like to troll and think of themselves as being clever to bait everyone else...when in fact they accomplish nothing other than to inflate their own ego that they are being the cleverest kid on the block (in their own mind anyway). If they have a reason the place to complain about it is not here...its Battleye, you post here because you got banned by battleye for hacking in a game and exploiting it, you will get trolled because that's the only way people who play fairly can get back at the real noobs who use a hack. I am not saying any anti-cheat system is perfect, but as Rocket says...no bans have been overturned yet, although some are claiming (without evidence) they have.... Its not DayZ who did the banning and so as far as Battleye is concerned your guilty until proved innocent, not the other way around. - Did we give them a reason to start? The question you should be asking is did they give us a reason to start on them...and the answer is YES...they are the ones who got caught hacking by Battleye not everyone else, they are the clowns posting on a forum about being globally banned and inviting ridicule, even after Rocket said, Dont post ban appeals here....if you are dumb enough to say you got banned for hacking (whether thats a false positive or not), even after your asked not to post, you deserve everything that comes your way Are we giving them a reason to continue? I really couldn't care and i think most fair players couldn't care either whether they continue or not....if they do they get ridiculed, if they dont, the community is rid of dead weight anyway, so we have nothing to lose by trolling them. if you set yourself up as an outsider and don't abide by the rules everyone else does, you don't deserve to be treated with honesty and humility...I think you are reading a lot more into this trolling by everyone on the noob hackers than you should be...its not a WAR, its just payback, we cant throw them in prison or hang them by their thumbs (although many of us would like to) so we take out our venom on them by laughing at and ridiculing them when they get caught and whine they have done nothing. There's no consequences... other than another whinge from somebody they got globally banned, which is just music to most peoples ears. :)

Its certainly a lot harder now to play on your own, possibly that will make players band together to scavenge loot and cooperate a lot more now, as trying to get something on your own is a lot harder. Although i would like to see the zombies field of view possibly reduced a little. Other than that you just have to develop new tactics to survive.

Well...a bit of payback is all well and good for the noobs who infest the games industry by paying for hacks and scripts so they can think of themselves as a "hacker" in MY OPINION. What you are expecting from the DayZ Devs is totally unrealistic, they are not saints, they are just ordinary everyday guys doing their best to improve on a mod they developed that's constantly being exploited by morons so they can have their little bit of fun messing with everyone... What do you expect them to do after months of frustration trying to debug a mod? ...shrug their shoulders and say "oh well that's nice they are banned"....don't say anything after all the hassle and grief they have given us and every decent player in DayZ.... I think your mistaking Rocket for Mother Teresa mate....we don't live in a perfect world where everyone is nicey nicey to people who just slapped you in the face. You may be like that, but you cant expect everyone else to be....so in my opinion, Rocket and the rest of the guys are fully entitled to post their thoughts, meme's, trolls or whatever they feel like doing on this forum, its just as you so dutifully pointed out ...you are entitled to YOUR OPINION....THEY ARE ALSO.
