Looking to help small medic group

Haha yeah that was way back when and I understand why. Don't feel like changing because I believe the statement still stands true but perhaps replace beans with as50s or something I don't know. But I am one hell of a shot nevertheless and if my sig only makes you uneasy that's too bad. Like I said I did bandit but it just boring and easy I'd rather do something that seems to be more productive than just shooting some guy with a hatchet
  3. So I've been playing DayZ since way back when bandit skins weren't just towels on your head and such. Well I've done everything in this game from bean wars to repairing helicopters from running from the NW airfield to Berezino to give a friend a blood transfusion. I've been that friendly survivor and I've been the scumbag bandit, robbing a gun out of someones pack and shooting them. But I think it's time for a change. The last week or so me and my buddies have been killing as50 douchebags on the hill in elektro and it's starting to get stale. So I decided I wanted to start running around being a medic. Helping other players out who haven't clocked the hours like I have or just don't have the camaraderie to fix each other up. I feel it would be a nice way to give myself some form of "mission" so I have some form of objective and I'm not just running around Chernarus. I am prepared to get shot, I'm prepared for people not trusting me, I get why it's like that the way DayZ has been with KoS lately. But I'd rather join a small medic corps, or the like, just to give me something else to do. (I know theres the whole Dr Wasteland thing but that's a bit to big of an organization for my taste) I'd gladly run around Chernarus fixin' people up so just gimme a ring on steam and I'll see what I can do. http://steamcommunit.../id/d3ucemakina
  4. So I waited at a bus stop and I don't think this is what I had in mind.
  5. So tonight was pretty intense and the end score was a great. So our group of 3 was traversing Berezino, and one of us had a broken leg. We had entered the town from the North side and the hospital and convenience stores are located at the south end. So here we are crawling through this zed infested town hoping that over the next hill we would find the hospital and get out. We begin to move slowly through the town finally hospital and market in sight and in a split second I see someone through the windows of the market dart in and into the back area. My friend takes the front of the store and I the rear. I get on to direct comms and yell out that I am friendly hoping that they had heard me as I enter the back doors. I see them both one holding a whinnie and the other a M4 but I couldn't see any attachments. Both are looking down at the ground and no one fired right away I accidentally bumped one of them in the face but I immediately backed off and no shots. So here I am thinking they are friendly. Well the player with the winchester kneecaps me and I guess they figured I had died and I dumped an entire 1911 clip into his head, the other had appeared to press G because his weapon lowered and I dumped an entire clip into his head. My backup arrives and we tally our loot an M4A1 CCO SD, 4 Mags, an alice pack, a lot of cooked meat, and a lot of other goodies. One congratulates me in the all chat and we were off. The double tap rule applies fora reason and I'm glad I was kneecapped and didn't get knocked out. Yes I am extremely lucky and thanks for the suppressed M4 and the ammo. Sorry guys but that's the name of the game you shot first.

    Bandits I THANK you,,,

Thanks dude it's nice to see that someone else appreciates what bandits do I part time bandit as well and if it weren't for them this game would be way more dull I enjoy having to keep an eye over my shoulder. Makes the game way more intense.
  7. haha thats how I like to conduct my business

    Squad Size

As far as coming up with adequate squad size what would be a good number. I know it can be as small as 2 and as big as you want it but what would be a good number the biggest group I've run around with has been 4 we usually have 2 on overwatch while the other two loot. So I guess just to ask over as a general question: What is a good squad size to usually roll with? Since I know too many makes you easy to spot and too small might leave you undermanned. What do you guys think?
  9. Well sir I just watched a number of your videos and your banditry is my cup of tea I tell ya. Keep up the videos you got a subscriber outta me. Good luck hunting, and the beans...

    Never doubt a bandit

Thanks for the story man loved it. Nothing better than getting back the person who guns you down and taunts afterwards. They'll never forget it.

    Maiming is so fun.

I do the same thing to idiots who like to throw flares in cherno but I like to finish a job. Sometimes debug forest is a lot more infuriating than fixing themselves up. But this I might start taking up since its not as douchey and they still learn a lesson.
  12. DrDeucePhD

So, I heard you guys like STUFF...

stuff like that in starry usually respawns in a few minutes you just gotta keep an eye out though you might get a bandit or some jumpy survivors shooting
  13. DrDeucePhD

Do people in this mod ever trade?

ppl trade bullets in this game all the time' date=' some end up magically back at the beancoast for some reason. [/quote'] Well they are just trying to share their ammo the fastest way they know how.

Your first time being a bandit.

My first act into banditry took place in Chernog. A buddy and I were planning on meeting in Chernog and heading North afterwards. We roamed around looking for supplies until I had found the medical tents and proceeded to the roof to help guide my friend to the town. All the while gunshots were blasting I scouted around looking for the source and low and behold a lone survivor firing every bit of ammo he had into the crowd of +40 zeds below him. My friend had finally made it to the roof and he was sporting a trusty CZ and I an Enfield so we traded. I took a second watching this survivor waiting for him to show himself because I had lost himself behind some tubing. Until finally I had found him, the look in his eyes were that of terror not knowing what to do. No ammo, no place to run. I felt bad for the guy so I would like to see it as a mercy killing. Dumb bastard never saw it coming as I pulled the trigger and placed a shot into the back of his skull. No I didn't loot the body we got what we needed and left. This thrill of taking out a character that is actually being played by someone was far more rewarding than gunning down a few zeds. Its survival of the fittest and you better hope you're not surviving into my CZ crosshair, because you ain't gonna be surviving no more.
