I have noticed something tonight regarding this script kick. It seems to also be associated with players leaving the server and immediately rejoining. I got a couple of our players to try it tonight and indeed if they disconnected and then rejoined they were kicked for this. (This is a good thing I wreckon to prevent players ghosting you, or disconnecting on death), If only someone could verify it. But also later tonight I got kicked for it. I was interacting with a tent. I had one guy right with me who was just covering who was also kicked for same, and another community player other side of map also kicked just running though a field. Someone must be able to shed some light on this?? please.

the script file ignores the blank lines in .txt file. So #55 does not refer to enable teamswith. it refers to processInitCommands !"\"processInitCommands\"," I think the scrip detects it because the scripts in effect when exploding a vehicle are similar to that of a player abusing scripts to creating a vehicle. So this means a person in a vehicle when crashed gets kicked. You can see it multiple times when a hacker has done something. Possibly transported everybody into a vehicle and blown it up or something. No idea.

Is there a help guide for this about anywhere? Best way to understand is by doing but il be asking someone every two minutes. And I should add due to discussion got unbanned, and happy to say has been playing fairly since. We dont just blanket ban. We warn through rcon chat direct to player, then we kick, then we ban if the matter is not resolved. We are well aware of the supposed rules for server admins but totally agree with Gogster that server rules have not advanced with the game "yet". Im sure they will. In the meatime we have a system which has led to one player being a bit wiser and happy to say still playing on our server, as well as a couple of others who have taken time to speak to us on our forum. I dont think we really need to continue this debate any more as we have differing views as much of this community does. All we want is a server to play on as fairly as possible. -

I love the dmr. I would trade you some coke? Pepsi? Maybe some Beans or pasta? I lost my beloved dmr recently but have nothing to trade worth note at the moment. (Maybe I watch for meeting point and go get me shiny new DMR) -
save yourself. The mod is about survival. The best way is not to buy it (or Arma2 and add ons). Then you will survive just fine. ;-)

I have played fps since Medal of Honour. Original. Then into Original COD. Then into bf2. Basically FPS through and through, Played alot of Project reality on the BF2 platform. I also agreee that BF3 has leaned too far toward COD. But still miles better, As far as this is concerned I play it stealthy. Avoid contact if I can unless I have a sniper and a clear shot. Which is completely opposite to my BF3 Play which is pretty much run and gun. -

I had to give you my beans. I have not laughed so much at a post in a long time. I feel sorry for the 40% of players on your server that like to play fair but are being unfairly disadvantaged by the no doubt masses of as50 thermal scope farmers you and the other 60% of your server are running. You really gleam from a post about an admin policy that I or we would be jealous of some players loot? And you call our notion retarded? It is up to the admin and the community as a whole to keep things running as the game is designed. As Rocket and the devs have clearly stated that stopping hackers are not their priority or interest. By your argument then its ok for hackers to use radars, spawn whatever vehicle they like when they want becuase if Rocket didnt want that he would stop it. I really hate having had to actually reply to this waste of space. So feel free to get the last word in as I will not be bothering with your silly notions again. Think you just need to stick to running your server your way and we will deal with ours ourway. -

Everything is recorded by your GUID. And not to do with the your username. So if someone came in with your username the GUID would be different. We have discussed this and agree that we can lift the ban. If you do come across something thats not supposed to be in game best to leave it. There is an m4 silenced in the game but not with the underslung grenade. Other common annoying hacked weapon is the as50 with thermal scope. We do keep an eye for that. We appreciate the fact that you took the time to respond, goes along way to show that you are playing fair and may have just stumbled across something that shouldnt be in the game left over by a real hacker. Of course it goes without saying we check the logs regularly. But on another note, feel free to join our forum and join in any banter about the game. Maybe we can find out where your hidden beans are and go steal em from you :-) Il remove the ban shortly. -

Allow me to jump in. Also as admin. We are quite happy to discuss IRJeesos sitiuation and remove ban if we here more from him. But we decided for the good of the people playing our server to put some actions in place. If someone has a weapon they are not supposed to they get a warning, and kick so they can realise they shouldnt have it. If they continue to ignore that then the ban is put in place. Most genuine people will take the action as I suspect IRJeesos has done here and then we can talk about it in a civil manner. It is a local ban and just means we can try and combat some of the weapons in the game and let people know to try and not use them. Maybe its a fruitless task but its what we have adopted for now, and hey we may change as we go along. We fully understand the nature of coming across these weapons and limitiation of the current alpha status of the mod as it develops. But we want to ensure that our server remains as true to the way the game is developed as possible and fair as far as items being utlised. -
Since I posted the images in here I restarted our server. I logged off and restarted game the problem was still there. Others were complaining about other parts of the map and showing the same problem as well as the tents and vehicles not having spawned back in since a recent server restart Restarting our server cleared this problem at balota for me anyway.

same problem. Since latest 1.7.2.4 and latest beta. This is approaching tents at Balota.

We had someone on our server with the above weapon. We were led to it through the fact the player ALT-F4ed whilst being shot at. We are fairly certain this weapon is not in the game just wanted to double check.

THe Arma 2 browser was offline last night for maintenance. It works for me fine now. Connecting failed issue has gone for me since it came back online. If their is a waiting for host delay now that could be an alternative problem?

Its a gamespy problem. Gamespy power the in game browser. Connections via 6 launcher have been fine.

Im not sure why battleye would be the problem. If I can connect via 6 launcher I must be using the most upto date battleye surely? And according to when I do log in this way battleye is verified as the current version 1.165.

Im part of ZiiP. We have had issue all day. The guys have got round it by using six launcher fix. But still a problem using in game browser to connect. 95208 Was running fine for a while, untill last night we started getting these connecting failed issues.

Scrollwheel not working/connection failing

I definetely have an issue with my scroll wheel and push to talk button for teamspeak (which is my left side mouse button). Only when using 6 launcher to connect. 6 Launcher gets me round the connection failed issue for some reason I do not understand. But I cant figure out how to get the mouse scroll wheel working or TS. I have run as administrator, but it just does not work. -
Yeah the mouse thing is weird. Il maybe pm svarskampe about that. But it was working fine untill I had this connecting failed issue. With regards to the connection failed issue. Ive noticed that another clan member of ours who had not played yesterday was able to join our server this morning. He went away for a bit, now he comes back to connecting failed. So something is updating in game perhaps that is then preventing players from rejoining the server. This only seems to have occurred from last night that I can notice as we had players coming and going all yesterday and last night.

I have the same connection failed issue. Was playing last night for a while. Disconnected then went to rejoin and got the error. My mate also tried disconnecting and got this error. Now a few others. After reading this post I tried to launch via six launcher and it loaded the problem server fine. Only problem is I also have the "non functioning" control wheel problem. Seems odd to me as I had manually installed beta patch 95208. But when I load six launcher it updated my beta file, but it still shows 95208. Dont understand why it would need to update if the beta was already installed.
