    Is there some way I can get player info like inventory from the official servers using serverside like python or with java? How exactly does it authenticate to grab my player file from the hive? I imagine it's probably based on cdkey which would mean there's no way for me to get the data I'm after. I was trying to come up with an easy way for the group of people I play with to share data on what gear they have over the web without logging into the game. Is there another way I could go about this that comes to mind or is everything official just kind of locked down?

    Wait I honestly thought that night time didn't exist in 1.8 as some sort of bug. You guys are saying you found servers with night time?
