Whenever I fire the AKM zombies come pouring out of the woodworks. Whenever I fire the Winchester I typically pull only a handful of zombies. I hate firing the AKM just as much as I hate firing the CZ in populated areas. It would be like firing the Lee in my mind considering how often I'm close to large groups. Winchester or revolver are the way to go.

The way Arma II works doesn't allow you to interchange the ammo. Even though the actual bullets might be interchangeable, it's the package the bullets are in that Arma II works with.

My friend spawned in the ocean today and we're not sure why. He swam to shore and it's just a barren open field with nothing there. Anyone spawn in the ocean before? How does he get back to the regular play area?

Issue is resolved. Someone shot me and then bandaged me. Seemed to fix the issue. I died 20 minutes later to a hoarde of zombies regardless though.

I honestly don't believe it's a matter of the server you're playing on. I think it's the server that handles the player data. That server can't handle the requests because there are SO MANY servers with DayZ. It has to save player information from all the players currently playing (tons of full servers) every ~100-150 seconds while handling requests for character files and all sorts of stuff. Please beef up the player database or limit the number of public servers available to play on. Or is there some really bad netcode going on in the background that can be fixed?

We successfully never play at night by using different servers. In fact, I would only play at night if the day/night cycle were shorter. Why? Because in real life I wouldn't go into a zombie infested town if it was pitch black out. ESPECIALLY if the zombies run like maniacs. I would hole up for the night. So what do we do? Since we actually want to PLAY the game, we avoid night time because there's nothing to do at night since you can't see. Maybe if we were able to see at night or if the day/night cycle were shorter we would bother with it. I foresee more servers running inverse time schedule to bypass night for people who don't want to play at night. I'm surprised there aren't any inverse servers in Chicago or Dallas yet.

I ate something and blood meter was still flashing and draining. Water + Hunger were full. I will try logging on later today and see if it's still going. If it's still going I'll screenshot it and report.

So today I was walking around and my blood meter was red. I was not bleeding and the debug window said I had 12,000 blood. About an hour later my blood meter starts flashing. I am not bleeding (can't use any bandages). I ignore the flashing because my blood is still at 12,000 so I am unsure as to what's going on. Thirty minutes later my blood meter is still flashing but now my blood in the debug window is draining about 10 per second. Why is my blood meter flashing and why is my blood draining if I'm not wounded?
