I was wondering if there was anyway to reset a server so all tents and vehicles are restored to a fresh server? I have replaced all my hive files, dayz server files, mission files but nothing has worked. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have hosted a DayZ lingor server and I am looking for more players to populate the server. I am the admin of the server and I am on regularly to help keep the game hacker free. The server currently supports 50 players. This is a fair server and no one will be banned for killing the admin or stealing a vehicle. The server is super fast and has low ping if you are on the east coast. Average loading time is under 30 seconds. Server is restarted when needed, but a warning is always given. I've been on a few servers where when the admin uses chat to communicate a message to the server it shows up in red. On my server however whenever I use chat to relay a message to the server it shows up grey. I would like it to be red so it would stand out more. I am using rcon and bec neither as far as I can tell can change the color of the text. If someone could please help me out with this I would appreciate it. Thanks.

I am trying to create a dedicated server and I am running into this error message when I run the .bat. I have tried disabling as well as adding excepetions to my windows firewall, and forwarding ports 2302-2308 on my router. I found a thread with the same issue but nothing mentioned in there helped fix my problem. If anyone has any suggestions id appreciate it. Thank you.

If you guys know what weapon he was using that would be extremely helpful in identifying him. I believe it was either a bizon sd or dmr.

Thanks for the posts guys. Sorry for the hacker ruining your fun. I'm admin of the server and I will look at what happened and take appropriate action. Can you guys please pm me your in game names or the name of the hacker if you caught it?

Has anyone found a fix for this? It pretty much defeats the point of having a server if no one can find it.

Is there any word on this getting fixed? My server can still not be found in the list. It is quite irritating.

So me and my squad finally found a chopper yesterday and fully repaired it. The only issue we have with it is that we can not seem to get gear to save on it. We place the gear on it but as far as any of us could see there was no save vehicle option in the action menu. This causes all gear placed on the chopper to disappear when the server restarts. This can be kind of an annoyance because we would like to keep a bunch of jerry cans onboard for refueling. I searched the forums but did not come up with any info on this. If anyone has any ideas how to fix this that would be awesome. Thanks.

I and my friends all have the same issue. We also have it at cherno. We think it is related to the dead soldiers bodies because it seems to occur where they are.

I am having the same issue with my server.

I agree side channel seems to be the best way to find people to play with and makes the game a lot more fun. Please let admins have the choice if they want to enable it.

Hi almost have my server up and running. I have gotten to the lobby and in the server list it shows as playing. When trying to join the server it gets stuck at the loading screen with the bar while sounds play in the background. It never moves on from this point until the game is force closed. This has been confirmed by several of my friends who also get stuck at the same point. The server is updated to 95248 as well as my client. I'm not sure what the problem could be so any input would be great. Thank you.

Nvm figured it out myself. I was stupid and somehow forgot to unzip the hive files into my root directory. Server is now up and running.

Did you update your hive files? You also have to restrict to the latest betas (95389).

I have updated to 95310 but it is still getting stuck at the loading screen. I am also seeing an odd error message in the console log. I will paste it below. When you say x port and +1 and +3 what exactly do you mean? If 2302 is the standard port the other ports would be 2303 and 2305? Thanks.
