DayZ standalone will be using the Arma 3 engine.

This is very annoying. It's so bad that my friends and I are taking a long break from DayZ, even though we love this mod to death, until the stand alone or at least until something can be done about it.

Yes they do. Just downloaded it in the updates tab.

This is just as annoying and serious of an issue as the graphics glitch. Vehicles and tents not saving on my server either.

Anything to make our lives easier is appreciated. Can of Beans for you!

As a server owner, I hope we don't have all these rules on server hosting when the standalone game comes out. As a DayZ enthusiast, shut up and take my money! Keep up the good work Rocket and I anxiously await for when we can start preordering! :P

Only music I listened to was the mod's music but quickly turned it off as it was drowning out mumble and the important sounds such as footsteps, gunfire, vehicles, etc.

Seems so. The new patch did not even fix anything. Just made things worse.

My server has the same exact problem! I spend hours repairing a vehicle and spam save it to be sure. First time I restarted my server when I had the UAZ, but I assumed someone stole it as my friends motorcycle was still there at our camp. Second time I restarted the server, I had a S1203 van and saved it, but this time I was there to make sure and alas it was gone shortly after the restart. I would like to know whats wrong. I was using 1.7.2.5 and beta patch 95819 on my server, though I just upgraded the server to 95883.

Something in 1.7.2.5 messed up waypoints. I would love to know if theres any way to enable it again.

After waiting a week after purchase, my server is running fine. No error for me atm in control panel. HA is probably the slowest host when it comes to answering tickets and getting things done but they do fix these things so patience is key. I know it's hard because I nearly gave up.

Okay my server now works finally! Just installed 1.7.2.5 on the server :D

So glad the graphic glitches are fixed. I always get screwed when in a convoy and that darn bug fills my screen for less than a second before I wreck and die.

Never encountered anything like Nuking or mass killings. The only hacking I was a victim of was when friends and I were raiding tents. A hacker tele'd on a hill and sniped one of my friends. My other friend and I drove up there and ran him over but as soon as we got out of the car, he had already tele'd behind us and sniped my other friend. I drove the uaz out with him frantically trying to kill me until he tele'd in front of the car and killed me.

Just go to where you downloaded the update, extract the files, go into the folder and click on "ARMA2_OA_Build_95777.exe". If you use six launcher, be sure to Install the update while that is open. Some reason six launcher resets the game version sometimes.

Awesome! Just took a peek in your server and it runs smoothly. Mine still doesn't work even though support told me it should now. Have sent them another ticket like they told me to if it didn't work.
