After roaming through every good town with my buddy, we have come to the conclusions that its just best to roam Cherno for good gear. That and the high yield barracks in the NW airfield. Is there any other good spots?

I dont think he wants your sympathy, I'm pretty sure that he is just sharing his Dayz experience with us, and I for one enjoyed reading it.

plug ur audio input cable into your mic input. You're gonna need a 3.55mm jack split if u wanna have ur mic and audio running at the same time.

your gonna deal with hackers, your gonna deal with bugs your gonna deal with a lot of dying and frustration, but it is a highly rewarding game and addictive. I'm pretty sure that, that's why so many of us stick around. It's alpha and it is still being developed so eventually bugs wont be a problem, and hackers? It's PC they are always there. And you will have some epic moments, trust me they are bound to happen.

So I just installed 1.7.2.5 and was going around on a server. Then I switched servers, as soon as I got on the other server all my items where gone and I was back at the shore. =/ Has this happened to anyone else?

Just logged back on, all my gear is back but spawned east of cherno market.

how much health did u have before you got shot?

your most likley trying to load into a server that is running the incorrect version of dayz. Check what version you are on, and which one you are connecting to.

I did and my response doesnt change. Yeah ur not asking for a complete game, but you are asking for them to focus on 1 thing. alpha is about experimenting with different codes and features. It's just part of the process. Beta is when they start focusing on the mechanics and bugs.

it's true though man, yeah the game is fun but we are here to test it. It's a mod for a already complete game. An amazing mod too.

So I had just finished gathering some supplies from my groups tent and heading to Chernogorsk for some fun action. As I was in the small forest to the east of the city I started receiving fire. I started to sprint and zig zag through trees receiving a bullet to the hip. I continued running a good 500-700 meters before bandaging myself. With only 5k health left and no friend online at the moment I decided to swing around the northern forest past Prigordoky. Then from the distance I heard what I thought was gunfire. I crouched behind the nearest bush and waited. As the sound got louder I realized that it was a chopper. "oooohhhh F#$!....Shit just got serious!" I exclaimed at my monitor. So here I am behind a bush, low blood, heart racing, and my trusty sniper. As the Helicopter approached I began to fire striking as much as possible before revealing my location. yeah agreed, though I don't think they knew where i was till i finally had a clear shot at the gunner.

no its very easy, scroll your mouse wheel, place it, then scroll and click, "touch off." They go off instantly.

used one today, blew up the chern market and took out 2 people with it. worth it.

If you can, I would get a better processor, but you should be able to run it on high/medium settings.

hey guys I think I found the problem, dont Run arma II through steam.

Doubt it has anything to do with dayz, most likely a game spy failure =/

they are up to date, it's a bug. Happens to my friend a lot when we try to join together. Mine works his doesn't.
