    Low FPS Issues

Any idea why I would be able to get higher FPS with my previous graphics card, but regardless of graphics settings (even resolution) unable to pull more then 40fps with the new one? If it was the CPU, wouldn't I have had similar issues with the previous card?

    Low FPS Issues

So I've recently upgraded my graphics card in my desktop in hopes to get better FPS when playing games, but for the most part I haven't seen an amazing increase like I expected. Here are my system specs: CPU - i7 2700k @ 3.5Ghz Motherboard - ASRock Z68 ATX RAM - G.Skill 8gb 1600 DDR3 Graphics Card - Radeon HD 6850 1GB DDR5 256-bit HDD- Hitachi SATA 500gb 7200 RPM On the original build above, I had everything set to low and was getting anywhere from 50-70 FPS (dipping to maybe 35 in cities) withuot any issue in 1920x1080. I replaced the graphics card with the following: Gigabyte GTX 770 2GB 256-bit Windforce 3x After installing the new card I did a full driver removal and clean install of new Nvidia drivers. I downloaded them from the Nvidia website rather then using the included CD. The issue I'm having now is that, regardless of the settings, I get anywhere from 20-40 FPS max. I've done a lot of research online to attempt to alleviate this issue, but haven't had any luck. I've followed "FPS Increasing" guides from these forums (as well as others) and tweaked game files, but still end up with no more then 40 FPS at best. Some websites suggest that my CPU is throttling my system, but shouldn't I at least be able to bring the settings to low and see an increase? Help!

    US256 Kansas; Zoidberg538 (playertags on)

I ran into him and his buddies tonight as well. They just laughed and told me they didn't care if we reported them.
  4. Server: US256 Kansas Time: 1:40am (GMT-6, Central Standard Time) Pimp C. McBigDick Zoidberg538 Lieutenant Dan I was playing with a few friends on this server, and they will be able to corroborate the information in this thread. We had just raided Vybor and a Helicopter Crash with our Van and proceeded back to our base camp, attempting to unload our goods. During this process, some type of SUV I'd never seen in-game before pulled up to our camp, where I saw 2 people in the front seat. One of them got out of the vehicle, carrying some type of golden weapon and yelling over voice chat 'awww naw, here comes Pimp C. McBigDick!' All of my group began shooting our weaponry into him, watching blood splatter everywhere...but he didn't die. After laughing over voice communication, he killed all 3 of us. When I respawned, I made my way to Cherno. I ran into the same people-- 3 of them. I had found a Lee Enfield, and proceeded to put all of my bullets into them. I landed 2 bullets into each of them, and none of them even went down. "Pimp C" was shooting explosives at me, regardless of the fact that his character model was floating around and the puffs of smoke came from his chest. The character model carried no weapon and had no animation. Zoidberg538 had a ghillie suit on and carried a sniper rifle, and took 2 direct hits to the chest before killing me. Lieutenant Dan simply talked shit over the mic about how they weren't going to die regardless of how much I shot them, and that they looked forward to killing me since I fought back. I told them I planned on reporting them, and that I hoped they got banned. He simply said that if he did, he'd buy the game again. I hope I can at least make him have to spend cash to continue wasting his own time.
