I would like to be able to bury found treasure.

ahh crap, ignore this post, I just saw the related link to chefwillis 's suggestion for the tiered underground bunker, which sounds way better. =P: http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/33948-underground-bunkers/
  2. (sorry if this has been mentioned before, I feel like it should've been, maybe my searching is thorough at all...I searched for "hole" "dig a hole " "hole storage" It would be nice to be able to dig a hole in the ground and store objects. - There is already an entrenching tool in the game. which may be required to allow digging places. - I think there is an in-game texture for loose dirt piles which can be used to visually mark the location. A natural indication, but obvious to any player that might happen across it if they come close enough. - Amount of objects that can be stored in a hole could be limited, to force user to make more holes, or make the hole graphic size based on amount of storage, so you can't get away with storing an armory's worth of guns in a tiny hole. - Disallow the storing of food or medical supplies unless stored in another suitable box. etc. -all sorts of things can be done to make this possible in the game. I don't think such a feature would be a bad fit to the game since if I went in a similar situation, and worried about people finding your things, storing things in the ground is probably one of the most basic things you could do. And it can be done with any tool really, but for the sake of gameplay, and e-tool/shovel probably makes more sense. I suspect something like this is probably may not be possible unless the game becomes standalone ...?
