1 reason i hate vehicle/tent saving properly the hackers have come back 2 fold and are griefing the shit out of everyone. in 3 hours, 3 different servers, 3 different hackers all teled the cars to 1 spot so nobody could take them (like the islands, and i mean EVERY vehicle in the map). Was on a server today and alt tabbed for a few, came back, i was still alive but all the tents destroyed.

You sound like one of those girls that go "I can't, i just can't" or "i can't even". That's how they start/end the "sentence" and it makes me want to blow my brains out.

Get a coyote pack, and get an m4a1 cco sd with a few mags, and in the backpack keep an m107/as50 with a few mags.

More TYPES of vehicles would be nice. Maybe the UH-60D blackhawk, or a refueling truck? Maybe even an Ambulance/Medic Truck or humvee?

For like the 1 MILLIONTH time, nothing can be done about it until they switch engines with the standalone as the arma 2 engine is too trusting, battle eye sucks so much balls that the game is turning into a hack or be hacked game. 3 different servers, 3 different times a hacker spawned all the vehicles in a place where nobody could get them now that they save. And from personal experience, tents are still broken but im 99% sure vehicles are not but cant be sure because of said hacker issue above^

I knew that, at the time i didn't, thought it was maybe just a glitch in the server, like this 1 game of Axis and Allies i played where a transport ship was placed on land and was killing units even though that's impossible lol, it was also indestructible.

I should've ran the other way, i got on the school to the left and some guy was running around with a hoard of zombies behind him askin if anyone wanted an m249 and 2 belts. I walked out of the school a few minutes later to see if he was around and was shot and killed by a silenced sniper or something with 1 bullet to the head.

Hacker teled all the vehicles in the server to 1 spot, server admin QQed cause im assuming they were his and restarted the server 30 seconds later after the hacker teled 99% of the server and killed them all. Logged back on after the restart and the tents that we put stuff in, not all of them have gear in them even though they were saved. We had moved those tents before the restart, like an hour before and after the restart there are 2 sets of tents in each spot where the tents were before we moved them. Wtf? edit: yes the server is running 2.6 and the latest beta

No, it may be annoying as hell if you cant get into the firehouse,church,grocery, or w/e when you first start but it adds to the realism which this game prides itself on. You can't tell me what if the world went to shit people wouldn't board up their homes and businesses? It'd be up to you to get the tools to remove the barrier to access the goods that you need inside. All you need is a toolbox to remove the wire anyway, and it doesn't even artifact. Plus if you remove the barbed wire, you still have tank traps and sandbags to grief with, or even duped satchels to level an entire town, which i've seen before... Poor elektro...

Which is where Angel's link comes in. My friend who i play with on here has an alienware and it came with a voice changer, he was playing around with it on TS one day and he changed his voice to a girls, it sounded legit.

Find a zombie and have them bludgeon you to death

It should be a requirement in the standalone that in order to kill a zombie, it requires 1-2 bullets to the head or 5-6 to the chest with any gun, maybe even more with a pistol. If you shoot a zombie in the arms/hands/legs/feet you have a chance to dismember them but they will just keep coming at you until you are dead. If you should a zombie in the stomach/groin, with better physics you can knock them back or force them to the ground

YES! Forests need to be more dangerous and not a safe haven for clans/tents/vehicles/snipers. Bears and wolves would be great to hunt down all the enter their domain. Different kinds of wolves would be nice too, some species specific to the mountains, others to low lying planes. There should also be different types of bears such as black, brown, and grizzly along with adult/young bears/wolves. Being able to shoot birds in general would be nice too and able to gut them for 1 meat or something. Riding horses, along with killing them for food would be cool too. There needs to be more modes of transportation IMO because i just hate walking everywhere. Maybe not neccessarily more cars, but bikes, or just something simpler like the horse would be perfect. To expand on the horse though, maybe needing to find a saddle that only spawns in barns in order to ride it, and maybe rope to tie the horse to something or else it will run away? Stray cats maybe? FERAL dogs? Hmmm, what other animals could we add... The bats i'm indifferent to as they'd just be for appearances, flying around and eating bugs. Adding fish into the game would be cool, chuck a grenade in the water, kill a school of fish, wade into the water to go and harvest the fish (require a fileting knife?)

Lol, idk. It seems like a good idea but i think it would just turn into that 1 game (don't remember the name, it was on SEGA and then recreated to the xbox 360) and of course after i type that i remember the game, Turak. IMHO Turak sucked balls, and the multiplayer would essentially be transferred to the mod here. You'd have a bunch of dinosaurs in an environment,most of which ignore you as if you didn't exist, all the while trying to shoot the shit out of your fellow players. Only difference is that maybe the dinosaurs would be 20x more dangerous than their zombies counterparts here in dayz. It MAYBE has potential, but in the end would require a lot of think tanks to make it truly successful.

I would love to play at night but know full well if i do it's just asking for me to be shot by somebody with NVGs so i just stick to daytime servers. The experience is fun as all hell and would love to do it more but you're just so much more death prone to players who can see you it's not even worth it. I think seeing the red hue of somebody running through a field/town/village with a flare would make the dayz experience 100x better as it adds another level of excitement to the game. The other problem we have now is with clans. All it takes is 1 person within a clan to get NVGs and then dupe the shit out of them until 3-20 more people have them, and then every time you die, somebody else gets them, and the clan just dupes another to cover their loss thus, it floods the system with a once extremely rare item.

I think if there were achievements now. and a goal to work towards, there would be less people bored with the game as achievements are what keeps people going back to games that are 5-6 years old. Plus it feels good to be able to say you accomplished something.
