The whole point of the post is im assuming he has a lot of followers on youtube so he knows how to advertise himself or some bs like that and he wan't to attract rocket's attention to try and help him grow and advertise the mod in some sort of business deal or friendly mutual agreement or something by making videos or something and putting them on youtube.

Its actually gotten to the point where if there is shooting me and my buddy (who i met on the forums here) just drop and see if we can see them and go from there. I've only murdered 2 people and that was because they killed my friend and tried killing me. Other than that we just avoid everyone pretty much. Only twice have i actively gone people hunting, but to no avail.

I don't understand why people say to get a map, the ingame map blows as most servers don't mark players positions and whatnot. Just use http://dayzdb.com/map as a map. Whenever you need to use it just prone in a safe place and alt+tab.

Why would you EVER play any game on a MAC? Blech.

Its funny, i have a laptop with 8 gigs ram, intel core i7 (its a quad core) 700gb hard drive, and Nvidia Geforce something or other graphics card and my FPS is always between 8-11 lol. Not laggy at all, it runs as if it was 60fps but i just find it funny.

To use your hatchet as a weapon, open backpack, right click the picture of the hatchet, click remove from toolbelt and wahla. Also, i don't advise using the enfield unless you 100% need to as it's as loud as bomb going off (not so much but you get the point). Good luck, don't stand infront of open windows, and prone on any roofs or you might get sniped.

I got one, sadly i died and lost it last night after a showdown with a group of russians when we happened to stumble upon their encampment in the middle of the Krasnostav Airfield

In raiding the military tents last night at the airstrip above Krasnostav, i counted 3 cows and 1 goat. Unusual yes but w/e, we took it and shot a cow and goat. I don't reccomend going if you're alone though, sniper heaven. Or if you do go, go on a very not populated server

the ghillie suit is gone, you forgot that, lol. Best loot of all right there. Nice story though, should come and read mine, lol. I probably would've booked though and not taken the chance of "did he see me yet?"

Was playing on a Russian server with my buddy and we were up by Krasnostav and we were headed south back towards Berezino to raid the military tents. Boy, this server 2 days in a row, the Russians just don't stop chattering! No joke, actually been learning a little bit of Cyrillic because of it haha. Anyway, we knew they were on a team (at least 4 of them, most likely more but just weren't talking cause they were asking people questions later on in the story).. anyway.. After a long run and cutting through the woods, BAM there we were. All of a sudden my buddy starts asking me in team speak if i see the camping tent set up right in the middle of the base in front of the military tents and i'm like no, there's some trees in my way, let me move a bit. So i moved around until i could see when there THEY, yes not one, but 3 camping tents set up in the middle of the base. He thought it was a trap and we should be really cautious but i said F that and went rambo down to the tents (never shot a bullet just booked like my life depended on it). Reached the camping tents and my heart dropped. These 3 tents were LOADED, mp5sd, m1014 shotgun, ak 47, akm, glock, and sniper rifle with a bunch of ammo in 1, and at least 3-4 runs worth of medical supplies from the hospital in another, and i don'r remember what was in the third. I was ecstatic, i had never imagined i'd ever get this lucky. Well, i wanted to make sure there wasn't anything better in any of the other tents so i checked all of those and then holed up in one with my buddy and he said brb, gonna check the map to see where to go next (the one on Google, not the game map). BANG!!!!! OH SHIT DUDE WE GOTTA GO NOW! I yelled, i was freaking out and PISSED i never raided the camping tents. So we instantly got separated when he started panicking because he never heard the gunshots and he headed west on the road while i headed south through the town. There was a lot more gunfire and then he started yelling if that was me running on the hill and i'm like yeah yeah its me, he said it wasn't and it looked like he was getting closer, eventually he realized the person, which ended up being 2 people, were running from a different direction and approaching him. A lot more gunfire ensued and eventually he died while i kept booking as fast as i could through the city. Eventually i stopped and turned around realizing they didn't see me and proceeded back to a position where i could watch their camp to see if i could find them and kill them. I saw one move south into the city but lost him, he had an AKM on him. Eventually i decided to leave and that's when shit hit the fan for me. Amazingly enough i didn't aggro 1 single zombie. Eventually they, or 2 others must have spotted me because one of them started unloading into me with his AKM, they hit me maybe 4 times and i was bleeding out but they were missing a lot too because i was bobbing and weaving like no tomorrow. Eventually i thought i outran them and lost them because there was no gunfire and i reached a shed and hid. I went to bandage myself up and all of a sudden one ran into my shed!!! Hitting close as fast as i could and multiple times (it began to get very sketchy/laggy at the time) and for some reason he had started to bandage me! I wasn't taking the chance and then his friend with a double barreled shotgun walked up behind him and started hitting q and e repeatedly to make him "dance". Again, not taking any chances i took out my trusty lee enfield and unloaded into the first guy, killing him after 2 shots, while his buddy took cover behind the wall of the shed. I ran out, spun, shot the other guy in the leg and broke his legs. He tried shooting me once but missed and then he started to bandage himself so i unloaded 3 more shots into him and killed him too. OMG YES! YESSS! I was yelling so loudly on team speak it was so surreal. I was outgunned, and they likely had so much more experience than me but i had killed our assailants!!!! I picked up a rangefinder, their Alice pack, a CZ 550? 500? idk, ammo, and some other stuff. Sadly, i herp derped when taking his bag and lost all of my blood bags/morphine/steaks which becomes a problem soon after. I waited a little too long because my vision was very blurry and i couldn't see anything when i noticed one of the guys ask for somebodies name, who soon replied thereafter. Oh no... I said, and waited to see if i could figure out what they were saying. He then asked a question which ended in the Cyrillic name for Berezino and the next guy never responded. I instantly knew he sent somebody to kill me. Even though i had this knowledge, i still stayed trying to bandage/eat food to heal myself but because of the horrendous lag nothing was happening. Well, shit hit the fan. BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG. I was shot twice and bullets ricocheted inside the shed. I booked around back and that's when the server acknowledged that i had bandaged myself and stopped me forcing to bandage myself at the side of the barn. I heard him drink a soda so as i moved around the shed to try and get the jump on him BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG he started to unload onto me again hitting me quite a few times. My adrenaline was going and my heart was racing and all my muscles tensed up as i tried to make my great escape After bobbing, weaving, jumping over fences, running around in circles, i finally made it out of Berezino, WITH BROKEN BONES. That's how bad the lag was and how many times he had hit me during my escape (he shot me more once i left the shed). I booked to the forest with all my stolen loot. OMG, i'm gonna do it. I almost felt like crying it was such a great moment for me (don't judge). I made it to the forest and ran for another minute when my character cried out and pain and dropped to the floor from my broken bones. I think the guy chasing me followed me into the woods cause my cross hair lit up with somebodies name for a second but idk... So there i was.. My rangefinder, sniper rifle, blood bags, entrenchment tools, Alice pack, and some other stuff that i don't really remember. It got really blurry again (my vision cleared when i left the shed after he shot me) so i couldn't read my compass. I tried a lot of stuff to get rid of it but nothing worked. I didn't even know where i was so i couldn't contact a medic on the forums to help me (especially not with well armed rambo Russians running around berezino...). As a last resort i logged out and logged back in only to have my character roll over and a sand clock/timer thing pop up and i noticed i was bleeding out. WTF! I was so pissed but it's whatever. I soon died, but with the satisfaction that i killed our murderers (it said i had no bandit kills but idk how it tracks who's a bandit.. had 2 murders though) and that they wouldn't be getting a lot of their supplies back. My buddy who was with me said the q and e thing repeatedly is supposed to be a "I'm friendly" dance? Well if it is that's horse shit and a half because they killed my friend and then unloaded onto me for a bit... Then called one of their cronies to kill me lol. Anyway, longest I've ever survived (maybe 12-18 hours worth). Glad i took out 2 guys that were better equipped than I and even got the drop on me, even though lag may or may not have played a roll in my survival/very late death, it was super fun. The server has been noted though in case we go back and their camp is still there >=]

Me niether but i unloaded onto them pretty quickly with my trusty enfield. Idk why they never shot back though. After i killed them my voice was still a little high from all the adrenaline and the like so it was almost like i was yelling in team speak for a bit but WOW what a good period of a half hour of game play. HOLY HELL. Deffinately going back to the server one day soon to raid those tents though maybe,lol. On TS though i was like how the hell you gonna go and do a friendly dance when you just killed my friend! AND THEN started unloading onto ME!?! Then you guys have the nerve to bandage me up? Yeah pffft no i'm not letting you guys live. Nice try though... Now if only i would've listened to my friend who told me to get out of the shed and book like crazy out of the town i'd still be alive with a range finder and a bunch of other awesome stuff... Still can't believe my enfield took out 2 guys, 1 with an AKM and one with a double barreled shotgun none the less.

Yeah, it does sound like they were friendly after doing the dance and bandaging me, but i wasn't about to be taken for a fool since they killed my buddy and then proceeded to light me up like the 4th of july. edit: still mad i never raided their tents.. would have been great to have even more satisfaction that not only did they lose a lot of supplies in their tents, but they also lost their super rare range finder to some asshole who killed over in the woods cause their friend couldn't kill me xD

I've also aggroed zombies from a crouched, not moving stance from quite the distance only for me to run somewhere and go some places and they instantly stop following me. Once aggoed a zombing from like 1 meter away, backed into a corner of a house, and he instantly walked away. Broke my legs with my flashlight out and crawled to a zombie begging to be killed, had 5 different zombies attack me once at different times all to walk away like a bored bear after hitting me 1-3 times.

I think it's just maintenance maybe

LOL, i know but it's a long one and i think it's a very good one. Can somebody clarify/ disprove that q and e repeatedly is to show you're friendly though?

How do you use the flashlight on the glock? Yes, i know foolish mistake but i will need it for what me and a friend are trying to accomplish, don't ask.

Tried German, Luxembourg, and UK too, all night when supposed to be day. Even tried a texas server which is i think 2-3 hours behind my time so it would've been 8am at the time, 3 hours past sunrise yet it was pitch black out... I thought when you made a server it was supposed to go off your time which dictated night/day in the server? Or is there a way to change that

Well i'm in russia where it should infact be daytime but in the server there is only a half hour left of daytime...

Lol, was thinking about asking to trade people for NVGs because all the servers seem to be messed up or something... all the servers i've joined where it's supposed to be daytime, it was night, and i joined 1 server where it was supposed to be night and there was an hour left of daytime... Any input on that?

G17 and makarov are about the same to take down a zombie, 3-4 on the chest. G17>mak though cause its a) quieter B) bigger clip by 2 fold c) takes 2 kind of ammo to make it almost as abundant as mak ammo.

Played like 7 hours yesterday, cleaned out cherno and berezino, even went to 5 different smaller towns, 1 compass, no maps, 3 hunting knives, and loads of guns and ammo/flares/bandages... only found like 2 cans of food... OH! But i did find MOUNTAIN DEW :D :D :D
