I logged on and our truck was gone and a tent was moved back to where we originally placed it with some of the supplies missing in 1 of the tents. I know a player didn't take the truck because we placed 2 tents but then moved one a good 50 feet away, but when i came back on like 20-24 hours later the truck was missing and the 1 tent that we moved was in the exact position that we originally placed it.. DAMN YOU SERVER! But then i ran to the berezino military tents and the tents never spawned which makes me think the server was just herp derping as it's been really laggy.. Hoping when my friend gets on he will confirm tents are ok and truck is back, but we'll see.

Thought i'd start a little series called the Adventures of Chim and Littleassassin2. Just gonna be some short/long videos of the interesting/bizarre/nerve wracking things we see in the post apocalyptic world of Chernarus instead of the usual wall of text. This is episode 1 :D pardon my excessive use of the colorful language. I tend to use it more on this game, i don't know why.

Currently on night 2 of my first camp. Haven't been on at all though today (the 2nd day) but it should still be there as there is nothing that would warrant any player coming arround. No cities, no loots, no water, no vehical spawns within a half hour/45 minutes worth of running. We have a Ural there too ^.^

Yeah we were, then a few hours after i posted this me and my friend got back on and went to the international airport and we saw some guy standing there in a ghillie. i went to go down there and gun him down cause we thought he was afk but when i got to his back, i scrolled over him and he was dead! Standing up?!?! I was like woooooooooooooooooooooooooooow. I got an m9sd, military flashlight, m107 and 12 m107 mags. It was great.

We have 8 jerry cans and various car parts. Just been running in out out of towns while me or my friend watches the truck stockpiling supplies. Pretty sure where we parked the truck should be safe from people checking the woods as there is absolutely nothing around us that would even warrant people to go there. If they do it would just be a waste of time.

I claimed squatters rights. It was a good time for me.

Great story, but im sure after a few deaths and BS experiences you'll be back to being a bandit, or an active bandit hunter and killer of would be bandits.

Yeah, i always get the glitch at green mountain. The radio tower does it in for me.

Yes, you have an m16 w/ m203 attachment aka the noob tube. Not hacked and can be found in military spawns. The m203 and shoot High Explosive rounds, smokes, and flares.

Roadflares don't work during the day, you need smoke grenades. Just make sure youre in a building first such as hospital/firehouse/grocery store/barn. I made 3 trips to the NW airfield in an hour because nobody was there besides me, aggroed a shitload of zombies on my third run and had like 5k health left.. made it to the firehouse but for some reason the zombies sprinted halfway to where i was when i was halfway through the throwing motion and then he sprinted the other half to my position when he attacked and mike tysoned me.. i was passed out and left for dead. I was pissed as hell.

Not a big part, but part of the game yes. In most situations, when coming to town, you're going to want to crouch run most of the way to the outskirts but once the zombies start getting close, instantly press z and start crawling around as they wont chase you unless pretty much 5-7 feet away from you but if you stop moving completely, i've had a zombie pass between 6 inches-1 foot away from me and completely ignore me. Try to stay away from roads, roads will get you killed. Try to menouver between houses/hards/concrete walls where there are less zombies (never stand, crouching is acceptable unless zombies can see you, then prone). Running into the forest is the best solution if you have a loud gun such as an akm, or ak74 varient, as it will attract most of the town, zombies and players alike. It is also a safer method of travel when running from town to town, just keep the road in site. Try to use steam, vent,teamspeak, or skype to voice communicate with people as unless the steam chat is always present, constant alt+tabing to talk to somebody can make it easier for you to die. If you have a map on your persons, try to find a server where your person is visable on the map as a blue marker, moving around will be much easier. If not, when you spawn, look at the name of the place where you spawn and then go into 3rd person and find the sun, it rises in the east and sets in the west, or the clouds run west to east im pretty sure. When you know that, it's a matter of trying to get to a town between the two of you. (i ran from elektro to stary sobor with no map or compass just by finding out where the sun was). To use your flashlight, hit g, and then right click on your flashlight and click remove from toolbelt, then hit L. Use sparingly as it will attract player attention. Also, if you have a sidearm already, make sure you have 5 spots in your inventory or backpack or you wont be able to use it. No you cannot use a knife to kill, only to gut animals.

Only place i know of that verifies age is Target. Most places don't card for a lot of things, granted i looked like i was over 20 at the age of 16 and got away with buying things for other people that i shouldnt be allowed to buy (not booze or cigs, hate both and frown upon the people who buy for the kiddies), but it's a problem in the state that i live in here in the USA.

Even still, the people who complain that it makes the game unplayable, as far as i'm aware, and after reading many comments about the glitching, it only affects certain areas of the game, mostly stary and nw airfield or anywhere where the military is involved. Such places can be easily avoidable. It's not like you look at 1 thing and then the entire game shits on you and you cant see ANYTHING

Out of all current "alive players", as of a few days ago the average number was 8 (i did the math). edit: this is average # of zombies killed per character

I just love reading about the people complaining about the graphics glitching. Just exit the game and go back into the server you were in via six launcher, works every time for me. So what if you waste 5 minutes or so relogging, who cares.

You has my beans as i think this would be a pretty cool option. It would also be good because it would follow you and it wouldn't be hoardable like vehicles

The cars DO need to be fixed imo though. Just sick of going into every server just to have all the spawns abondoned with no car. The only 2 cars i've ever seen: 1) 1 was a sniper trap 2) a bus in cherno, but a clan in a heli blew out a tire and then it despawned (lag im assuming), and then the server was restarted, everyone was kicked multiple times, and then somebody hid the server. I'm assuming though that if they had destroyed the bus, it wouldn't respawn until the next server restart? That's something that def. needs to be changed imo

If something isn't done about the hackers soon, whether it be by starting donations to pay somebody to come in and upgrade Dayz's anti hack/cheat software and stuff or SOMETHING to start preventing the cheaters by being proactive instead of banning them after they cheat and being reactive, you have just predicted how the game will come to a fiery chaos filled end. In the end though, if everyone stopped paying for servers, then im sure the hackers would buy their own to cheat on.

So i was teleported to the top of the international hotel in Cherno last night by a group of at least 4 hackers is US 521. Is there anyway i can get down without killing myself? Idk, maybe an admin or game developer or SOMEBODY could despawn me somewhere else or something... Just trying to avoid the inevitable of killing myself.

UPDATE: I didn't make the jump... Missed it by.. Well, when i died, my head was touching the rubble i was trying to jump to... Had a friend gaurd my body though so the only thing i lost was... my.. ghillie suit :(. Found camo clothing like 3 min later, and then a bus but server restarted 3 times and then everyone kept getting kicked and then somebody hid the server <_<
