Use kickstarter to get people to donate money to hire people to go and do whatever they do to stop/prevent cheaters? Or use the money to expand the number of people you have working on the game to implement patches and the like faster? More car/boat spawns would be nice Maybe implementing an ownership tag kind of thing. So say i walk up to a car, i can put ownership on it so it belongs to me and nobody else can use it, however, you can only own 1 vehicle so you can't hoard all of the cars/helicopters on the server. You can also take your ownership tag off of the car which will then cause the car to instarespawn in a random location Destroyed cars/helicopters instarespawn upon destruction Armored vehicles without weapons? Or maybe a humvee or 2 More skins, such as US Navy Seals, Spetznaz, zombie, SAS, multiple civilian skins

That was a while ago before they even announced the standalone when there seemed to be no fix even in the works for the hacking issue.

Yeah, hackers are an epidemic in the mod and nothing will be done about it so you just gotta muscle through it all or turn the game into a FPS imo. Stick with it or drop it like the tens of thousands of others who have, nobody will blame you. If the standalone is going to be better, who knows, but i'd be weary of buying it before they tell us they've deffinately improved the anti cheating measures that they have.

Stock up on Monster/Redbull/NOS/Starbucks/Coffee in general. Maybe some music, a friend or 2 to keep you company for a few hours. A LOT OF PATIENCE. Playing for 24 hours on a high/medium populated server is going to end up being hacked probably once, twice, a few times, who knows. Honestly, just get a gun, and if you go into a city, turn the volume to max and pay close attention for footsteps, hide, and pray they don't have grenades lol. Good luck, and God speed.

Ignore the knuckle draggers that rampant the forums ^, but it really only should take like 5 minutes to swim to a place where you can walk on shore, especially if you're near a crane.

With the standalone coming out soon, here's some more suggestions i posted over in the consolidated weapons and w/e else post rocket made the other day. This is just so it doesn't get lost among the hundreds of "ERMEHGERD BRING (eneter list of 50 guns here)" New updated versions of vehicles would be nice too, since this is going to be arma 2.5 and everything is getting an upgrade, why not the vehicles to more modern versions? For military vehicles i suggest replacing the UAZ with the humvee, instead of the Huey, how about the UH-60 Blackhawk? Maybe a little Russian APC the BTR 60 but instead of a weaponised cannon it's a water cannon for crowd control? A more modern GAZ would be nice too. Update the Ural. Bring in the Chinook and/or maybe the Russian Mil Mi-26 or the Mil Mi-6. Land mines and claymores to make more effective defensive positions/defended bases. Bullet proof vests and/or helmets? Fishing poles to catch fish? Knives to kill people with, or at least just add the ability to kill people with knives, including an execution if you come up from behind people. Pepper spray/mace Flashbangs/concussion grenade and maybe take out the RGO grenades Radios should deffinately be added imo and make it realistic so it's like using ACRE on teamspeak without having to use TS and ACRE

We need the radios from arma so we can talk to other clan mates and stuff and make it more real wordish. Make the radios realistic too so it's like using ACRE. Should essentially just bring in all the weapons from arma too.

Well, since the updated Chernarus map in the standalone is going to have like 99.9999% of the buildings enterable, the loot is going to be 4x more apparent like in Lingor where every building has loot inside of it unless for some ungodly reason they change the loot % chance for loot spawn to be dismal instead of 40% when it reality it's like 99%

With the amount of stuff that goes on around the entire mountain and not just the peak, you may as well be right. Beanz to you sir.

I'm pretty sure they spawn anyway but it takes a bit for it to happen, but anyway, Zombies won't attack anyone in any kind of vehicle

Lets not argue about how myths/shoot 'em ups are boring, just talk about the slender man. I actually haven't been on Dayz in a week and so i haven't been able to experience anything but that's alright. I'm sure i could BS my way into saying that the pig hero was slender man screwing with you guys, especially with the screech and insta broken legs and then being dragged away. As for slender man being afraid of green mountain, highly doubtful.

Don't listen to the people who go get yourself a sniper rifle and ghillie then camp the city from the forest. The ballsy bandit always grabs and assault rifle and runs around cherno killing everyone, including the new spawns. If you want to be create, sneak up behind your target and start playing jason music or something. Or, play the part from the Tenacious D song "Run to the Hills" where he's all "Ruuuuuuuuun to the hiiiiiiiiiiillllllllllsssssss... Ruuuuun for your liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiives" and then kill them.

ALL the stats only count official servers, except for maybe the total overall players. That might just be how many people have dayz downloaded or something
