This seems quote plausible. I hope they will postpone 1.7.4 to address this issue... Apart from the Kevlar zombies, as someone pointed out, the uber heli crash/ airfield weapons apparently did NOT get nerfed, and that will cause serious balance issues I'm afraid. Also, some weapons are, in fact, useless both in PvE and in PvP now (double-barrel? makarov?) - an hatchet is WAY more reliable, has infinite ammo, more damage and integrated suppressor :P

get to da choppa! got some sweet weapons there but I'm afraid i'm gonna drop them soon as the ammo probably spawns at heli crash sites only (I got the normal FN FAL and a Bizon SD) what I'm wondering is... are heli crash sites on each server fixed, or do they vary? I know they are randomly generated, but I was curious wether they disappeared on a certain server or stayed there. and how many loot piles do they have? dayz wiki says 6 - I've only managed to find 4 in the grass... does stuff fall far from the choppa?

So: locations change at every restart, there should be 4 loot piles, and stuff only spawns once. Thanks a lot for the info... I guess I won't be noting the serve and location down then :D

also you can raid hospitals and get blood bags, with those you can give transfusions to others (NOT to yourself) and pop the blood back to 12000!

LOL! 4 shots? that sucks, considering that a mag holds 7 bullets... you either need to headshot or you can't kill 2 zed without reloading! BTW, I did get lucky. Like lottery lucky. No bandits. Found morphine, killed a zombie with FIVE mp5 (now i understand the 5 in the number) without drawing aggro, also got a GPS (useless but cartman-cool) and an AK Kobra with a BOATLOAD of ammo.

second server with 5 people, exactly the same scenario, log in and hear gunshots (different weapon this time, the one before was definitely an AK). bad luck this morning :D actually I'm starting to think that I'm, in fact, lucky as I hear gunshots BEFORE i start crawling with a broken leg in the open.

are those tents usually packed with zombies? or only a few? I'm almost tempted to find an almost empty server, crawl back there, snipe the zombies with my mp5, crawl inside and try to find some morphine ;__;

does anyone know at what time servers go from night to dawn/day and from day to dusk/night?

how do I run east with no map nor compass? and.. doesn't respawn make me lose my gear? anyways I "solved" the problem. I logged out and logged onto another server... and found myself in the spawn point just outside cherno (ffs I was up north!). unfortunately for some reason my blood was under 9000 (I am positive I logged out with over 9000 because I ate my last steak to go from 8400 to 9200 not long before i logged out in the woods), a random zombie ninja-aggroed me, and it was one of those UFC zombies. 1 hit and I was down. lost my stuff another time, goddammit!

So, instead of six launcher, a friend of mine suggested I tried dayzcommander. He was right, it's awesome. Now, I have a few question about the server settings represented by icons. There are 7 in total. 1st - Armor: wtf? armor? what does it mean if it's on or off?? 2nd - 3rd person view 3rd - Tracers - what are these? notice they're off on almost every server though 4th - Crosshair 5th - Death Messages 6th - server locked/unlocked I know it's probably related to Arma II, but I bought the game only to play DayZ so I don't really know ^^

something similar happened to me... I was happily running trough the forest with my beloved hatchet in my hands (out of ammo, and I like stealth anyways), when all of a sudden it turns into a MASSIVE rifle with a scope the size of a horse dick. I press G, and all my stuff is gone and replaced with the 24 slots backpack, ammo for that rifle, a 1911 with ammo, and full tool stuff (compass, gps, map, nvg) and even a ghilie suit or whatever it's called!!! wtf??? did the server I was playing on got hacked? stuff like this shouldn't happen O_o even though I'm happy I have all that stuff now :D let's see how long before I lose it to random people xD

So, after being forced TWICE to respawn because somehow I broke a bone (either because of zombie attacks or falling like an idiot) and couldn't move anymore, I decided to raid an hospital for the first time. Well.. I'm low on blood and I have 2 blood bags now. How do I use them? I've also got a question about flashlights. How do I use mine? I removed it from my toolbelt, and it appeared in my pistol slot, but if I cycle weapons I still have a pistol in my hands, not the flashlight.. and L doesn't seem to work :/ what do I do wrong?

I'm afraid my flashlight is bugged :/ thansk for the help btw... I've go another problem now..l. I'm infected and I can0't find antibiotics ;_;
