I love the idea of arm bands. Maybe not for bandits only, though... because this sort of still gives the bandit a "bandit skin". I think there should be varying colors for varying levels of humanity. In some apocalypse movies I've seen you can usually tell the "cannibals" (read: bandits) from the good people by their appearance. Although I've never experienced an apocalypse myself, I think we'd be able to tell. So yeah, some form of identification system should be implemented. Edit: with varying colors... it's up to the player to be knowledgeable on what those colors represent. Edit 2: Maybe the "bandit" armband could get to be a brighter/darker red the more people they kill. I don't know. So if you see a bright/dark red arm band they probably have only killed one person and it could have been in self defense.

I'm having quite a bit of trouble with the STEAM VERSION beta... Here's my problem. The guide that Rocket linked to is written in shorthand and, although I followed it... I encountered an issue while in RegEdit. Bohemia Interactive Studios folder/path does NOT exist under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE. :huh:. ALSO... the guide Rocket links to in his announcement is 3 years old. I don't quite think it's 100% relevant. Can somebody please please please link me to a -newb friendly- guide that is not written in short hand/ written to assume we know everything there is to know about Arma 2 patching? I mean, I can't be the only person having this problem... my friend ALSO does not have Bohemia Interactive Studios under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > Software. Thank you in advance

After getting "session lost" on a server I exited out and restarted the game, or tried to at least... and I'm getting this error: "This game is currently unavailable please try again later" Can someone try to launch their game and see if it's happening to you as well? Thanks in advance :).

My friend and I did the jump on 3 test. You count to 3 and both jump at the exact same time, and then you time how long it takes before you see the other person jump... it took a full 56 seconds before we saw eachother jump.

The Virginia servers all have very poor performance. Always crashing and the yellow/red chain links are on the screen literally every 5 seconds. Not even exaggerating. It's sad too, because I have great ping on those servers. Wonder why they're so bad... maybe they're hosted by the same company.

So I did a few forum searches and THEN I did a few google searches. Found no such list. Can anyone help me out with servers that are REGULAR difficulty and have vehicles enabled? The server I found a vehicle on (Chicago 34) is down and has been for the past full day :( so I need some new ones. Thanks in advance !!
