How about players not being able to spawn within 200m(or smthing like that) of the nearest building/tent, they would simply spawn at the point where they entered this 200m radius. Would perhaps also make server hopping at barracks etc a little harder.

In some countries its considered a marriage proposal.

My favourite spot is on top of the fire station on NW airfield. I thought about just camping it out there after I got a m14 from 2 guys in stary sobor, I was somewhat bored of just running around in cities shooting at every noob with a makarov so I went over there and supplied up on meat & water on the way. When I got myself settled down I started the waiting game, you can just lay down by the wall on top of there and you will only be somewhat visible from the forrest on the north-east side of the hangars/firestation. Depending on how far view distance your computer can handle i gues you can have a pretty good overview over the entire place. The big groups i've encountered are so sure of their own abilities/firepower that they dont bother avoiding zombies, they just shoot them with their loud-ass sniper rifles and whatnot. They never bother to clean up after themselves either, leaving a trail of bodies. Managed to stay alive and kill about 14-15 people up there, from 5 different "groups", got sniped by some ghillie bastard,(last man standing) that managed to run behind some trees and snipe me 2-3 minutes later. PROS: 2 out of 5 encounters have been 4-6 man groups. Medium geared, varying degree of teamplay. The rest are solo or duo, some of them in pretty good gear(nvgs and shit). Quite exciting when they understand where you are and want vengeance for their fallen comrades. CONS: Can be very boring(bring a book, lol) for long stretches of time. Needs to be well supplied in terms of food/water/heatpads. ADVICE: This will be more fun if you got a buddy you can play with, that is able to handle the "do nothing for 20 minutes, untill the shit hits the fan" gameplay this presents. Having no backup was what got me in the end, hard to keep track of the exact movement of 2 people by yourself.

A good deal of the deaths are due to respawning for a better position.

Give us the ability to store water in broken whisky bottles/empty tin cans FOR A SHORT WHILE(just so we are able to drink from a well/lake). Could perhaps add a chance to get an infection from drinking this dirty water from those items?

Being able to wield a flashlight while holding your sidearm, perhaps increase the recoil of the sidearm and/or reduce your aiming accuracy?

Found a heli yesterday with loot outside of the chopper(cant remember if this was b4 or after i DLd the 1.7.1 build), the chopper itself was not enterable and the muzzle flash was frozen. There where about 6-8 zombies, respawning relatively quick. The loot outside was(after my memory): Some variant of an AK with 3mags Ammo box with Stanag and M24 ammo chemlights medical supplies. Its ofcourse possible that some of this was left behind from someone who where there b4 me.

Lost a m4 SD from my alice backpack. I still had the mags i picked up for the m4 but had regained some other items i had dropped to pick up the m4(food & diff. ammo). I had kept my revolver (in my sidearm slot)that i picked up at the same time as the m4.

Date/Time:16.06.2012 around 11.00 What happened: Bodies of dead players reappearing right next to where they died. Where you were: Stary sobor army camp. What you were doing: Killed 2 survivors at the army camp(inside of some of the tents), when i was looting them i realised they where respawning right outside the tent but instantly falling over dead, several times. With the exact same gear. *Current installed version: 1.7.0 with arma 2 beta 93825 *Timeline of events before/after error: Shot 1 survivor in a tent, went around the camp and shot the other survivor, maybe 1-2 minutes apart. I went to loot the bag and weapon from the first survivor and then he "spawned" right infront of the entrance to the tent and instantly fell over dead, kept doing this with maybe 15 seconds apart. Realised that this was the case for the 2. victim as well. All items/bags where on the copies. I ran away. Was DCd some time later so dont remember the server.

YES Perhaps reduce the supplies in your inventory when spawning and add some of that basic stuff being able to spawn by those boats on the shore?

Date/Time: 27.05.2012 around 23.45 (gmt +2) What happened: Found downed chopper, UH-1Y(on mouseover) no possibility to enter gunner's seat or interact with it in any other way. Muzzle flash from gun seemed frozen. Around 6 zombies spawned. It was at night so could not tell if it was the "right" colour.
