First things first I've had my current character for about a week and he is not bandit skinned. So take that for what its worth, I have never killed random people or those with good intentions, and I don't plan on starting. You are welcome to bring a couple friends to the trade as I will probably do the same. Now that's out of the way here is a complete list of the gear I have: Two Mp5 Mags Sold, still have Mp5 AKS-74 with Kobra Sight - About 15 AK Mags, Antibiotics - I'm pretty sure this is a fairly rare medical spawn depending on how bad its needed I might just give it away 4 Frag Grenades - I wouldn't get these unless you are comfortable with Arma Grenade throwing system, it's a bit tricky. 5 Smoke Grenades M4A3 CCO (tactical flashlight) - this is my primary weapon so a trade for another assault riffle would be most ideal. An M4A2 Silenced for examble What I am looking for; GPS, Rangefinder, NVGs, Maybe some clothing M4A3 CCO Silencer (with a decent amount of SD mags, Before we initiate the trade I will likely request you join our teamspeak, skype me, steam me. Something of that nature. I will be checking the traders/traitors list. If you are negative then I will not trade with you.

I retract my idea about PVE servers as much I can't stand morons who shoot people who are obviously not a threat, I still enjoy shooting at the people who do engage in those types of noobish activities. I was a little disgruntled when they took out the side channel. Realism or not it it just doesn't seem necessary. I doubt it will be put back in, but there should be things that will allow for longer range communication. In the form of a tool perhaps a multiband radio that will allow communicate with players text/voice over longer distances. You see a person in a distance maybe across town, if you have a radio you could get on it to attempt to see if they may be friendlies or there is something you can do to help out, trade stuff, warn them of danger, warn them that you'll shoot them, that kind of stuff. I'd say such a feature would fit in well with the lore of dayz, and while it's not a global chat, it can help establish communication over longer distances. With that being said perhaps add some animations that allow you to signal to other players to tune into a certain channel, The chat itself would be not much different from direct communication except with an extended range. Not sure exactly what the range would be, perhaps there would be different grades of radios that would allow for varying ranges. It may also make things interested if more powerful radios could transmit to weaker radios even if the weaker ones would not be able to reply unless they got in range of said radio's range. To add on to the idea of storage perhaps there could be grenade belts to allow for additional storage of grenades and throwables, I use smoke grenades quite often and it would be nice if they in some way could be stackable. I wouldn't mind seeing the Chernarus landscape carved out to make for some sort of river network to make boats more effective. And on that note the boats should all have some sort of storage capacity. More boat focused, water focused maps sort of like the private hive maps may also take advantage of this. From what I here Chernarus will be expanded in the final version and as result I think vehicles spawns need to be just a little bit more significant, I really don't want to see any armored vehicles so to speak but perhaps a wider variety, honestly though the current vehicle selection does make logical sense and can't think of too many more from the Arma game that should be included otherwise it may makes get out of balance fast. The exception of the luxury suv,bring that nice looking thing into the game. This is without a doubt been stated but the crossbow needs a quiver. It'd be nice to see compound bow systems, as well as a basic bow, placed into the game as well. The ability to forge arrows and the like would be a nice addition to some sort of crafting system. Steyr AUG Para Sub Machine Gun, probably would be a Rare gun, maybe even more so rare with a silencer or something of that nature attached. I do believe there is a LMG Variant of the Steyr Aug, I will have to look it up though. I think there needs to be way to switch out weapons from the backpack a little more quickly and with the press of a button or use the mouth scroll wheel. Obviously you would not take it out isntantly but a way to program what gun it would swap out and the ammo it would trade off as well would be a cool feature to have. I think you should be able to move and do this however the animation would last 3-5 seconds for switching primary guns out. The same should apply to sidearms well not the animation lasting 5 seconds it should be done fairly quickly, but you should be able to do it on the move. I realize this is an Arma thing not necessarily at the fault of the DayZ team. Similar to the idea of adding notes to the game I think the game would also benefit from the ability to place signs of some kind. You could write whatever you want. Ceasefire zone, trading post, keep out signs whatever it may be. Server power needs to be handed back to the hosts and admins of said servers, none of this it's my mod it's my server nonsense. I think that's completely ridiculous. If server admins feel they have reasonable belief that someone is hacking they reserve the right to ban/kick said person without having to constantly ask for permission, of course such info should be relayed back to the DayZ team for further investigating. If someone feels that they have been kicked, banned etc. etc. wrongfully there should be a way to appeal to that. But this is the only mod/game in my gaming history that has exercised such scrutiny over matters that involve people that are obviously exploiting or hacking. Not all the guidelines for having an official dayz server are unreasonable however, but as I said server power should be in the hands of the admins/hosts. As someone who wants to potentially rent and use personal funds to further expand the games playing capacity this is an issue that's personal to me. -

While this would be nice, quick, and convenient It would probably wreck the games balance. All the spawn camping issues, getting killed within minutes of spawning would be so much worse if this system was implemented. There would be those who wouldn't exploit, but there would also be those who would completely rely on this just for the sake of a small laugh. That's my opinion of course. MAYBE spawning in with a couple friends like 1 or 2 at the most would work but group spawning would make the game just even more of a pain in the ass to play. Haha. On a side note, there is ridiculous amount of hate geared towards the OP, grow up, state your opinion in a calm mature manner and go about your day.

Perhaps while it may not be immediately available a system should be implemented to see various stats for your current life and past lives, as well as maybe lives all together. Obviously your players skin would be reflected by the current life you are on. And that is a system that should be kept into play. Bandit skins, that type of stuff to hint at what a players intentions. After all, even in the real world you can tell a lot about a person by the way they carry themselves. That's my 2 cents. I understand the desire to take blood and temperature away for the realism aspect, plus the blood indicator still gives you a rough idea of how much blood you have. But all the same I don't see the harm in having a quick and accessible way to access humanity, zombie kills, survivor kills, etc. etc. -

Yeah I realize this, I just pushed off the M107 for a dmr with a ton of ammo, that's honestly the only thing I really knew I could get.

Will we be able to play user created maps in the standalone?

I need to do my homework some more but I've heard that Rocket will not allow modding in DayZ standalone. If he keeps this stance I will absolutely not buy it. You won't allow mods in a game that started out as a mod? Seriously?? I'm not entirely sure how much the game will cost and I here it will be setup sort of like how mine-craft is setup super cheap in the beginning and maybe has a final sticker price when it's official. If they won't allow community created maps/modding then I'd have a hard time justifying paying for the game considering at this current time they don't have any issue with Private Hives. -
Got an M107 unfortunately i just have one mag for it right now. Im not worried about ammo on my end though.

Yooooooooooooooo...I'm Gravatrax. I have been playing the role of the lone wolf trying not to get shot by doucehbags but now I realize it is time to turn my gun towards those who intend harm on others. Join me in my cause? There are many. Defenders. Yada yada. My ideal kit is that of the assault such as a M16A4 Acog, M4A3 CCO Silenced with a PDW/M9 tactical. I typically carry a lot of smoke grenades and items that can be used for distracting bandits or zombies. I have been doing he sniping thing a bit too, but I'd rather reserve that for the more talented snipers out there. When I can find one, I like the firepower of the FAL as well. I play best with a couple friendlies on my flanks a good sniper on overwatch. I have yet to kill on sight, and I don't plan on starting. I can also fly the helicopter decent too, though I'm still getting the hang of safe landings. Some basic suggestions from me, My apologies if someone has thought of it before, but then again it would only add to the resolve of implementing it. Maybe. First of all, in light of people who may me brand new to Arma or are just wanting a more relaxed challenge the implementation of PVP Servers. Perhaps to prevent against thigns like exploiting the loot system by server hopping there may be rules in place where you have a character you would use on PVE servers, and one you'd use on PVP Servers? I'm sure there are methods in development to prevent against loot exploitation. While I know this is something the purists will probably gnash their teeth at I just think it may be something to consider to help those out who are getting started, or like i said want a more tame experience. Admitatedly for me, as much as I hate being spawn camped (that should be adressed too) and spending hour getting killed by silly shit is frustrating, the suspense of getting killed by other players or whatever it may be, adds to the game. Just a thought, I'm more than sure such servers would be used. I'd say with opening up the game to have more interiors make finding basic supplies for survival a lot less of a chore (though admitatedly it's not much of one as it is), as well as weapons, so I don't have much to say on that. I'm not going to hold my breath on this, but perhaps the ability to ahve some form of choice on the area you spawn in would be nice, especially for the sake of trying to group up with friends and the like. Remove zomies abilities to climb up ladders, if realism is the idea that should be taken out of the picture completely. That being perhaps zombies will crowd whatever building you are on top of making it difficult to get back down...unless of course you take them out. Also doors...they shouldn't be able to immedately teleport through them/open them up. Perhaps a way to bar them would be nice, and if that's not the case perhaps it would take them a moment or two to break them down. I realize this is probably more of an Arma issue than it is a DayZ one. -

Two dudes looking for an established english speaking Clan/Squad

Hey there my steam name is Gravatrax101, My buddy Iceyy and I are wanting to join a clan/squad to have some dedicated people to play with we've tried to get a clan/squad started but it's not working out so we decided that perhaps joining an established one, especially one that could help us through might be a better idea. In any case I am best at medium range combat, I try not to shoot on sight but lately I am considering changing that tactic due the fact most are pretty trigger happy. We both use Teamspeak and speak American English. I guess I'd probably be best at covering pointmen at medium range so I prefer ARs. Iceyy on the other hand would better off as a sniper but I will let him speak for himself. -

Hey there I added several of the White Listed Medics on here but I decided to try this anyways Me and a friend were heading north Stary Sobor and decided to stop in Mogilevka, we were convinced that we could get in there without much trouble but a zombies spotted us in prone somehow which ultimately led to me not shooting quick and enough and my frine dfiring the CV550 (aka a zombie baiter). So sure enough some zombies came up and overwhelemed me and hit litereally once and I broke my leg So I am in need of Morphine. If anyone could help me that would be great my steam is Gravatrax101 I will upload a youtube video of our dealing with the clan to hopefulyl fully validate their credibility and trust.
