This is possible, no skins would be missing, game looks the same to me. I have Combined Operation, but I use to play on Arma II free. Regardless Steam Arma II Free not working, you can still download Arma II Free from Arma II official website. Then in DayZ Commander you simply have to re-route the Arma II folder to the Arma II Free Folder. Helped friend did this, he only has Operation Arrowhead on Steam.

Well so here I was in this server, I had my M4A1 CCO SD and all other nice equip. Then suddenly BOOM! "Welcome to Thunderdome, let the game begin!" And several players were there along with me getting blown apart to pieces. Thanks Hackers. It was a nice experience. So is there anything I could do? Or can I only shove back down my rage and deal with it?

Realism guys, you don't expect to spawn in a good town all the time.

Think about this, if it really did work like this, wouldn't the clanies usually hog to one server, resulting in any newbies to switch servers upon death. Then eventually, no one will play on that server anymore. No.

It would be nice, but I can live with the current inventory system. It's really not that biggie once you get use to it.

You know something I learned? Not to trust anyone. I have experienced Friendly and then afterwards getting backstabbed. So here's the principle I live by: Shoot on sight, to kill or be killed.

I wouldn't suggest you buying a computer just to max this game out. Arma II is actually a pretty high-end game. Unless you have a $1000+ budget, it will be most unlikely for you to have a computer that max it out. I have an Asus G74SX.

I suggest you get use to Arma II controls first, then go for towns to loot supplies and arm yourself. Then go for one of the bigger city after you gotten a map to find other players.

Alright, I am bumping this since I also have the same problem. I use a cable connection, so technically speaking, it's suppose to be better than wireless connection. Now everytime I launch the Six Launcher, as it load up the server list, I would experience internet spike, then my skype would slowly die out and the whole house's internet get's either really laggy or completely unusuable due to disconnect. But as soon as the Six Launcher server list finishes pinging all servers, the internet is then back up once again. I have a hypothesis that this has something to do with all the servers out there, and how the launcher eats the internet as it test and locate connection from your computer to all the servers. This might be able to fix if you only ping nearby/local servers. But yes, this needs to be fixed ASAP.
