    I am stuck in this state too - ridiculous. I cant even delete my character or respawn.

    Same issue. I am a new player and do not see what the fuss is about. I finally managed to join a game. It was dark, and I couldn't see anything, and I was in the middle of nowhere. I walked a bit then got killed by a zombie. I exited the game, and now whenever I try to join another (provided I can get into a server, thats another issue), I start laying down, 500 or so blood, and have a green hour glass. I cannot respawn or do anything. I guess this is why it is an alpha? What is the fix?
